Actress Vidya Malavade recently revealed that she hasn’t used soap on her skin for the past decade, yet her skin remains as soft as ever.
Shower Affirmation for Positive Energy
Vidya shared her unique shower affirmation on social media, using it to ward off negative energy. Known for her role in ‘Chak De India,’ the actress explained that she often receives a lot of nazar. This special ritual helps her combat that.
She keeps salt in her bathroom and outlines her shower ritual as follows:
- Once your skin is wet, take a spoonful of salt and add a few drops of water to create a paste.
- Apply this paste over your entire skin, but be sure to avoid any cuts or bruises.
- After applying the paste, step out of the shower for 30 seconds and recite the affirmation.
Once that’s complete, she suggests stepping back into the shower and visualising the water washing away not just the salt, but also any aches, pains, worries, anxieties, and anger going down the drain.
Vidya emphasized that salt acts as an energetic cleanser, breaking down heavy, low vibrational, negative energy. She recommends performing this ritual every month for ten days straight, followed by a break, as salt can be drying to the skin.
Affirmation Details
The affirmation goes as follows: “Shower Affirmation..Step out of the shower for 30 seconds, and say Thank you for taking away any intentional and unintentional Nazar coming towards me and mine …And anything that doesn’t serve me! (sic)”
In her caption, Vidya mentioned that this visualisation process acts like a little meditation, allowing you to actually see and feel the negative energy being cleared away. She suggests doing this after a long, tiring day or after interacting with many people to cleanse your energy. On other days, you can simply use water and still recite the same affirmation because water carries high vibrational energy.
While acknowledging the many organic soaps available these days, she shared, “I don’t use them. Have you tried this yet and felt the difference? Or will you try it and let me know?”
