Actress Dushara Vijayan, who portrays one of the heroines in the highly anticipated action entertainer ‘Magudam’, has announced that she has wrapped up filming her portions in the movie.
Recently, the team began its third schedule in Ooty. Dushara shared her excitement on social media, posting pictures from a cake-cutting ceremony where the unit celebrated her send-off. She expressed her gratitude, saying, “And that’s a wrap for #Magudam! Grateful for every moment, every lesson, and the amazing team that made it all happen. Vishal plays the lead role alongside Dushara and Anjali. Sources close to the production suggest that this schedule is expected to continue for the week, with Vishal slated to return to Chennai by next week.
Previously, Vishal had shared updates about the film’s production and celebrated the completion of the second schedule. He mentioned, “Completed the second schedule and back to Chennai. The team also filmed the second schedule in Ooty, where they announced that actress Anjali had joined the project.
For those unaware, Vishal began shooting for his 35th film on August 1 this year in Chennai. This project is produced by veteran filmmaker R B Choudhary under his renowned production house, Super Good Films, which celebrated the film’s official launch with a grand pooja ceremony in July.
‘Magudam’ is notable as the 99th film from Super Good Films, a studio known for delivering numerous blockbusters and introducing many talented filmmakers to the Tamil film industry.
This film marks director Ravi Arasu’s first collaboration with Vishal. The actor, fresh off the success of his latest release ‘Madha Gaja Raja’, is keen on maintaining his successful streak.
The production features an impressive technical team, with acclaimed cinematographer Richard M. Nathan reuniting with Vishal after their successful collaboration on ‘Madha Gaja Raja’. Additionally, the film sees the return of Vishal and G.V. Prakash Kumar, with G. V. Prakash composing the music. The editing is handled by NB Srikanth, art direction is led by Durairaj, and costume design is managed by Vasuki Bhaskar.
