The shooting of director Venky Atluri’s much-anticipated film with actor Suriya, tentatively titled #Suriya46, has reportedly been wrapped up, according to industry sources.
While the film unit’s conclusion of shooting has generated buzz in the industry, there has been no official confirmation from the makers as yet.
Film Launch and Cast
The project officially commenced with a grand pooja ceremony in Hyderabad in May this year, where renowned director Trivikram delivered the first clap.
The film stars Malayalam actress Mamitha Baiju, known for her remarkable role in the Malayalam romantic drama ‘Premalu’, as the female lead. The music for the film is composed by National Award winner G V Prakash.
Release Details
Shooting began at the end of May, with the film slated to hit screens in the summer of 2026. Produced by the well-known production house Sithara Entertainments, the film is expected to be a family entertainer.
In addition to Suriya and Mamitha Baiju, the cast includes Bollywood actress Raveena Tandon and Tamil actress Radhika Sarathkumar in important roles. Cinematography is handled by Nimish Ravi, while editing is done by National Award winner Navin Nooli.
Music Highlights
At the film’s launch, music director and actor G V Prakash expressed his excitement on X about collaborating with Suriya again, following their successful partnership in ‘Soorarai Pottru’. He mentioned, “This album will be as special as SP. This one is for you sir @Suriya_offl….We have got a fantastic film and album on our hands…. The songs have come out superb.
