The unit of director Buchi Babu Sana’s eagerly awaited rural action drama ‘Peddi’, starring Telugu superstar Ram Charan, is currently filming an important fight sequence on an extensive set specifically constructed for this purpose.
Sources associated with the film reveal that renowned stunt director Sham Kaushal, known for his exemplary work in ‘Dangal’, is overseeing this high-intensity action scene. Navakanth has been brought in as the stunt master to choreograph the sequence.
The filmmakers have engaged Sham Kaushal due to the significance of this particular sequence, which is expected to be one of the film’s standout moments. To emphasize its importance, the shoot is being mounted on an exceptionally grand scale.
In this crucial fight scene, Ram Charan will perform alongside fighters, including Kannada superstar Shiva Rajkumar, who portrays Gour Naidu in the film. A massive set has been designed by production designer Avinash Kolla at the Aluminium Factory in Hyderabad, where this action block is currently underway.
‘Peddi’ has already received considerable attention with its first-look posters and teasers. Produced by Venkata Satish Kilaru under Vriddhi Cinemas and presented by Mythri Movie Makers and Sukumar Writings, the film is being developed on a grand scale with a significant budget. Janhvi Kapoor plays the female lead.
