The makers of the eagerly awaited pan-Indian film ‘Vrusshabha’, directed by Nanda Kishore and featuring actor Mohanlal in the lead role, have released a thrilling trailer that has generated excitement among fans and film enthusiasts.

The trailer opens with the haunting phrase, “The past never dies. It bleeds into every birth,” accompanied by a voiceover outlining the story. It becomes apparent that Mohanlal’s character experiences recurring dreams filled with violence, bloodshed, and war. A doctor in the trailer states, “What you can’t define, the brain denies!”

As the narrative unfolds, we learn that Mohanlal, in a previous life, was a king named Vijayendra Vrusshabha. He faces a challenger from his clan—a young adversary—with whom he has vowed to settle the score on the battlefield.

The conflict transcends generations, as one character remarks, “It’s purely reincarnation.” While Mohanlal’s enemies are intent on revenge, his son stands steadfastly by his side, determined to protect him. A powerful line in the trailer states, “Before you plot to take my father’s life, shouldn’t you kill me first? Epic Storyline

Written and directed by Nanda Kishore, ‘Vrusshabha’ is presented by Connekkt Media in collaboration with Balaji Telefilms. The film has been simultaneously shot in Malayalam and Telugu.

Cast and Release Date

In addition to Mohanlal, the cast includes Samarjit Lankesh, Nayan Sarika, Ragini Dwivedi, Ajay, Neha Saxena, Vinay Varma, Garuda Ram, Ali, Kishore, and Ayyappa P Sharma, among others. ‘Vrusshabha’ is slated to hit the screens on December 25 this year.
