Hollywood actor Adam Sandler has recently undergone a stylish transformation, thanks to George Clooney. Known for his laid-back fashion sense, Adam surprised fans during his latest outing.
A New Look at the Premiere
Typically sporting baggy shirts and shorts with bold prints, Adam attended the red carpet premiere of his film ‘Jay Kelly’ at the New York Film Festival. He and his co-star both donned navy suits paired with black leather shoes, as reported by Female First UK.
George Clooney’s Influence
George credited himself for Adam’s polished appearance, stating in ‘People’ magazine, “I actually have been making Adam wear suits. Don’t you think he looks nicer instead of those big baggy shorts?”
Delighted to collaborate with Adam once again, the 64-year-old actor wore a white shirt with his suit, contrasting Adam’s black top. He shared, “I love him. He’s the sweetest man in the world. He’s a dear friend and the fact that I got to work with him again is great.”
Adam’s Surprising Style Icon Status
According to Female First UK, Adam also sported a tuxedo and bow tie at the Venice Film Festival screening of ‘Jay Kelly’. He humorously acknowledged that he has “unintentionally kind of become a style icon” to his fans.
In an interview with Complex, he remarked, “It’s funny as hell. And whenever one of my kids or their friends talks to me about it… my wife’s like, ‘What the hell are we talking about right now? How did that happen?’ But my wife (Jackie) always was nice to me about my clothes. Even when we were young, others would say, ‘Would you put on something better than that? Your wife’s dressed so beautifully.’ My wife would say, ‘He’s comfortable like that. Let him do that. Leave him alone.’”
The 59-year-old star emphasized that he doesn’t overthink his wardrobe choices.
