Bollywood superstars Deepika Padukone and Ranveer Singh arrived at the crematorium in Vile Parle, Mumbai, to pay their last respects to the legendary Dharmendra.

The couple was spotted in their car as they entered the crematorium, which was secured with heavy police presence. Ranveer Singh previously shared the screen with Dharmendra in the 2024 superhit film Rocky Aur Rani, where he portrayed the role of Dharmendra’s grandson. Their on-screen bond was cherished by fans.

Veteran actress Shabana Azmi also came to honor the late superstar. She collaborated with him in Rocky Aur Rani, where they played on-screen lovers, including a memorable kissing scene that generated significant buzz online.

Recently, notable figures such as Amitabh Bachchan, Abhishek Bachchan, Aamir Khan, and Salman Khan visited the Pawan Hans crematorium to pay their respects. Dharmendra’s wife, Hema Malini, and daughter, Esha Deol, were seen visibly grief-stricken as they made their way to the site.

A Fond Farewell

Dharmendra passed away on November 24 at the age of 89. Earlier in November, he had been admitted to Breach Candy Hospital in South Mumbai due to breathing difficulties but was discharged after showing signs of recovery. Reports indicated he had been on a ventilator during his hospitalization.

Celebrated Legacy

Dharmendra, born in 1935 in Punjab, was one of Bollywood’s most beloved stars. He launched his career in the early 1960s after being discovered through a talent hunt competition. The legendary actor was also awarded the Padma Bhushan, India’s third-highest civilian honor.
