Reality show Bigg Boss season 19 is approaching its finale week. In the upcoming ‘Weekend ka Vaar’ episode, host and Bollywood superstar Salman Khan will be addressing various contestants for their behavior throughout the week.

In a video shared by the host channel on social media, Khan was seen scolding veteran actress Kunickaa Sadanand for crossing the line with fellow contestant Malti Chahar. He expressed, “Kunickaa, you seem to be very insensitive in some matters. Malti’s brother told you clearly what you said about Malti, and that was found very wrong by everyone. Why do you have to get trapped in such situations?”

Interrupting Kunickaa, who attempted to defend herself, Khan firmly stated, “You won’t talk in between; you’ll listen quietly. Your reasons were worse than your comments. I was going to show you the video,” referring to footage where the actress was discussing Malti’s sexual preference.

Accepting her mistake, Kunickaa replied, “No, please. Save me the embarrassment.”

Recently, the Bigg Boss 19 house witnessed a surge of happiness as the family members of each contestant entered the show. Kunickaa Sadanand was moved to tears upon being surprised by her young granddaughters.

A viral video highlighted the loving bond between the grandmother and her granddaughters. The young girls, likely in their teenage years, ran excitedly towards their grandmother, who had to remain stationary as part of the game.

Once Bigg Boss released Kunickaa from her frozen position, she hugged them tightly, tears of joy streaming down her face. It was a heartfelt reunion for the Lall family.

The makers of director Pradeep Advaitham’s sports drama ‘Champion’ have revealed that actress Anaswara Rajan portrays a character named Chandrakala in the film.

On Saturday, a glimpse video for the film’s first single, ‘Gira Gira Gingiraagirey,’ was released, shining the spotlight on Chandrakala, played by Anaswara Rajan.

Production house Swapna Cinemas shared the glimpse video on its X timeline, stating, “Presenting the glimpse of CHANDRAKALA from #Champion… She’s all set to conquer your hearts. First Single #GiraGiraGingiraagirey releasing on November 25th.”

This film is a collaborative effort between Swapna Cinemas, Anandi Art Creations, and Concept Films, with Zee Studios as the presenter.

While the teaser introduced audiences to the fierce determination of Michael C Williams, the new glimpse video portrays Chandrakala as a strong-willed village belle with aspirations beyond her surroundings. She dreams of shining as a drama artist and eventually establishing her own troupe.

Anaswara Rajan’s scenes radiate charm, ambition, and liveliness, emphasizing that her character is pivotal to the plot. The glimpse video also highlights the budding chemistry between the characters of Roshan and Anaswara, making their love story a central and heartwarming aspect of ‘Champion.’

The track boasts music composed by Mickey J Meyer, promising a soothing and melodic experience. Ram Miriyala’s charismatic vocals suggest a song that beautifully encapsulates Chandrakala’s world and spirit.

Actress Priyanka Chopra Jonas recently wished South filmmaker S.S. Karthikeya on his birthday.

The Indian Institute of Creative Technologies (IICT) has taken a significant step towards enhancing international academic collaboration by signing a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with Deakin University, Australia. This agreement was finalized during the Waves Bazaar, which is being held alongside the International Film Festival of India (IFFI) 2025.

This MoU is a key part of the Australia–India Creative Collaboration initiative, in partnership with the National Film Development Corporation (NFDC). It encapsulates the shared vision of both IICT and Deakin University to promote innovation, academic excellence, and cross-disciplinary engagement in creative and technology-led education.

Vishwas Deoskar, CEO of IICT, remarked, “This collaboration strengthens our mission to nurture global talent and push the boundaries of immersive and interactive media education.”

Under this agreement, IICT and Deakin University will collaborate on various academic programs, training, and research in creative and applied technologies. This includes organizing workshops and masterclasses aimed at promoting both student and faculty mobility. Additionally, the partnership will work with industry stakeholders to ensure a meaningful real-world impact.

IICT also showcased a dedicated booth at Waves Bazaar, allowing delegates to participate in interactive activities and learn about the institution’s innovative programs and initiatives.

In conjunction with this, the 56th International Film Festival of India is featuring 18 meticulously restored classics from the Indian film industry, brought back to life under the National Film Heritage Mission (NFHM), managed by the NFDC and the National Film Archive of India (NFAI).

Notable films in this collection include Ritwik Ghatak’s “Subarnarekha”, Muzaffar Ali’s “Umrao Jaan”, and “Guman”, along with Kalpana Lajmi’s “Rudaali”, B.N. The Central Board of Film Certification (CBFC) has granted a U/A certificate for director J K Chandru’s action-comedy entertainer, ‘Revolver Rita’, featuring actress Keerthy Suresh in the lead role.

Originally set to release on August 27 for the festival of Vinayaka Chathurthi, the film’s launch was postponed. It is now slated to hit screens worldwide on November 28 this year.

The startled criminals inquire whether she is a RAW agent, an underworld don, or a cop. Keerthy doesn’t provide a clear response. Soon, she receives a call from Radhika Sarathkumar, playing her mother in the film, asking about the tomatoes as she is preparing a meal. Keerthy responds, “Keep the stove on sim and I am on my way.”
