The makers of director Jayan Nambiar’s highly anticipated action entertainer, ‘Vilaayath Buddha,’ have just released an engaging teaser. The footage showcases actor Prithviraj in the dual role of ‘Double Mohan.’
Social media buzz took off when Prithviraj shared the teaser link, wishing everyone a “Happy Vijayadashami” along with links to the teaser in various languages.
Teaser Highlights
The teaser opens with two police officers discussing “Double,” whose real name is Mohan. One officer reveals that Double is a key player in sandalwood smuggling, highlighting his significant role in the business, even dubbing him “Kutty Veerappan” (Little Veerappan).
Mohan, portrayed by Prithviraj, is depicted as a witty and fearless figure who isn’t intimidated by law enforcement. A memorable moment occurs when a cop confronts him, asking, “Who do you think you are? Pushpa?” Double Mohan retorts, “Oh, he is international. I am just local.” The teaser also hints at a romantic side to Mohan, as his sweetheart offers him unwavering support. It concludes with more powerful adversaries warning Mohan that he hasn’t grown to their level, to which he confidently responds that he has faced enough challenges to be taken seriously.
