In a delightful clip posted on his official Instagram account, the ‘Maanaadu’ star was spotted sitting in his car and enthusiastically waving to a school bus filled with excited youngsters. On the professional front, Silambarasan is set to lead director Vetrimaaran’s much-anticipated Tamil entertainer “Arasan.”

In October, the excitement for this upcoming drama was heightened with the release of a power-packed promo.

The promo begins with director Nelson making an appearance, followed by Silambarasan addressing him, stating that what he is about to share is the truth. He emphasized that the killers, victims, names, and places mentioned are all real.

However, he advised Nelson not to present the content as it is and suggested including a disclaimer in the film. “I’m saying this only because most of the cases I’m going to tell you are still under trial,” he was heard mentioning.

Silambarasan cautioned that revealing such details could lead to trouble not just for “innocents” like him, but also for various professionals including lawyers, politicdigihunt, police officers, and judges.

He added, “If you put out a disclaimer, even if the incidents shown in the film are true, no one can question you,” advising Nelson on the importance of this precaution.

Alongside Silambarasan, “Arasan” will feature Andrea Jeremiah, Samuthirakani, and Kishore in significant roles among others.

Television actor Mohit Sehgal recently took a trip to Goa with his mother, marking 11 months since the passing of his father.

Bollywood hunk Salman Khan has made his much-anticipated return to Mumbai after his ‘Da-Bangg Tour’ in Qatar.

Upon his arrival at the Mumbai airport, Salman was spotted in an all-black ensemble. A clip showed him stepping out from the airport and getting into his car, surrounded by impressive security.

Veteran filmmaker Subhash Ghai has expressed his strong opinions against comparing Bollywood to Hollywood, stating that such comparisons are an insult to the legends of Hindi cinema.

He highlighted the significance of icons like Dadasaheb Phalke, Guru Dutt, Mehboob Khan, and Shantaram, insisting that Indian cinema, across all languages, deserves respect for its distinct art, culture, and storytelling traditions.

Subhash shared his thoughts on Instagram, accompanied by a photo from the Jagran Film Festival. He noted, “I was delighted to see the backdrop of the Jagran Film Festival on the red carpet, which mentioned both the Punjab Film Industry and Assam Film Industry above polywood n aollywood.” (sic).

He further stated, “It is surely a big insult in disguise to every talent of the regional film industry. Bollywood itself means a ‘copyist of Hollywood’ and is an abuse to our Hindi cinema culture of Phalke Saab, Guru Dutt, Mehboob Khan, and Shantaram. Indian cinema must be respected in its each language depicting its own art and culture. PLEASE DISCUSS IT IN VARIOUS FORUMS TO BRING OUR OWN DIGNITY. Thank you.” (sic).

Liu praised the fans of the Marvel Cinematic Universe (MCU), emphasizing that he is “always gonna be beyond grateful” for their continuous support, which has significantly propelled his career. He added, “Part of that is like getting to put the suit back on again, except with these incredible legendary actors, many of whom I grew up idolizing and worshiping. ‘Avengers: Doomsday’ is set to reunite a diverse range of characters from the franchise, similar to the extensive cast featured in 2018’s ‘Avengers: Infinity War’ and 2019’s ‘Avengers: Endgame’. According to the reports, Robert Downey Jr. will return to the Marvel fold, not as Iron Man, but as the main villain Doctor Doom. Despite the excitement, Liu’s fans have been disappointed; Shang-Chi has not appeared in any Marvel films since his introduction in the acclaimed ‘Shang-Chi and the Legend of the Ten Rings’ four years ago. “You’re not the only one that’s kind of felt that absence. Somebody tells me in some way, shape or form, I’m not kidding you, I’m not being hyperbolic, every single day of my life and oftentimes multiple times in a day,” he remarked.

The makers of renowned director S. S. Rajamouli’s highly anticipated film have announced the title as ‘Varanasi,’ featuring Telugu superstar Mahesh Babu in the lead role. Mahesh Babu will portray a character named Rudhra.

To further excite fans and film enthusiasts, the team released a captivating title teaser for the film. The clip indicates a narrative that traverses different time periods and regions, incorporating a devotional theme.

During the announcement event, S. S. Rajamouli expressed his thoughts, saying, “I had this habit of keeping a press meet and announcing the story of some of my films. However, for this film, we realized that mere words wouldn’t do justice to the scale and scope of this project. Therefore, we decided to create an announcement video instead. Without uttering a word, we wanted to convey the grandeur of this film. Though the release got delayed, we are excited to share it now.”

Despite facing some technical challenges, the team successfully launched the mesmerizing title teaser.

Rajamouli also praised veteran actor Krishna, Mahesh Babu’s father, for introducing multiple technologies to Indian cinema. “When I was young, I didn’t recognize Krishna garu’s greatness before entering the film industry. But over time, I’ve come to appreciate his contributions. To introduce new technology, one needs to forge new paths, and he has done just that.”

He proudly mentioned that this film will showcase a groundbreaking technology called Premium Large Scale Format Filmed For IMAX.

The title ‘Varanasi,’ previously known as ‘GlobeTrotter,’ was unveiled at a spectacular event held at Ramoji Film City, attended by thousands of enthusiastic fans. This gathering is being celebrated as a once-in-a-generation spectacle, marking one of the largest live fan congregations in Indian entertainment history.

The event featured one of the most impressive stages ever constructed for a film launch, standing 100 feet tall with a 130-foot wide screen accompanying it. Among the highlights of the evening was a dance performance by Shruti Haasan.

Additionally, the makers have introduced the characters and looks of Prithviraj and Priyanka Chopra. Prithviraj will take on the role of the antagonist Kumbha, while Priyanka Chopra is set to portray Mandakini in the film.

Facing Sleepless Nights

During the conversation, the actress opened up about her ongoing struggle with sleepless nights. Haarsh, attempting to lift her spirits, remarked, “It’s not like that. If you sleep early, you’ll get sleep early. You don’t get sleep after a certain time.” Tejasswi responded candidly, “No, I don’t get sleep anyhow. I just lie down. I don’t have a mobile or TV in hand or for distraction. I just lie down and keep looking at the fan for hours.”

The Frustration of Insomnia

Tejasswi continued, expressing her frustration: “Literally, it’s so frustrating. You know, hours go by, and sometimes you see the sunrise through the curtains. And you don’t get sleep for a single night. Seriously, there are so many nights in a week that I don’t sleep at all. Not even for a minute. Also, because I live in a row house, and I am on the ground level, sometimes I hear the sound of birds early in the morning. I can hear it, and then I know that it is morning now.” Haarsh then inquired about how she manages to function the next day without any sleep.

Coping with Sleep Deprivation

Tejasswi explained, “This has been happening for the last year, I think. In the beginning, there was a lot of irritation over ‘why didn’t I sleep?’ I used to be so tired that ideally I should have crashed to bed instantly, but no, I was wide awake. That would make my day go bad and make me even more cranky.” She added, “But after a while, I realised that ‘even though I didn’t sleep the last night, why should I waste the next day?’ So now I wake up and say, ‘That it’s okay, I didn’t sleep, and it’s fine.’”

Struggling with Limited Sleep

Tejasswi shared that on the day of the podcast shoot, she had only slept from 6 AM to 11 AM. Haarsh was taken aback and asked how she managed with just five hours of sleep. She replied, “I just can’t sleep!”
