Known for portraying realistic and grounded characters, Shweta discussed her attraction to everyday heroes. “I’m deeply attracted to their dreams, their way of speaking, thinking, and living. I find immense beauty in everyday people,” she noted. When working on a character, she thinks continuously about their emotional state, thoughts, and inner world.

Sharing her creative tools, Shweta revealed, “External tools also help me. Music, for example, plays a big role. I maintain separate playlists for each character to help me access their emotional space. Even fragrances matter; every character has a different perfume. Reading also strengthens the imagination, which becomes extremely useful. So my advice is: keep learning, keep exploring, and enjoy the process.”

When asked how she delves into her internal world while building a character, she explained that each role requires a different approach, though music and fragrances remain constants.

“Makeup is also important—not in terms of looking glamorous, but in ensuring that the character looks authentic. External tools help you regulate your internal world, and internal truth becomes visible on the outside,” she concluded.

Film Synopsis

“Amaran” is based on “India’s Most Fearless: True Stories of Modern Military Heroes” by Shiv Aroor and Rahul Singh. The film follows Indhu (played by Sai Pallavi) as she journeys to receive the Ashoka Chakra award in memory of her late husband, Mukund (played by Sivakarthikeyan), while reflecting on his life and career.

The makers of director Pradeep Advaitham’s sports drama ‘Champion’ have revealed that actress Anaswara Rajan portrays a character named Chandrakala in the film.

On Saturday, a glimpse video for the film’s first single, ‘Gira Gira Gingiraagirey,’ was released, shining the spotlight on Chandrakala, played by Anaswara Rajan.

Production house Swapna Cinemas shared the glimpse video on its X timeline, stating, “Presenting the glimpse of CHANDRAKALA from #Champion… She’s all set to conquer your hearts. First Single #GiraGiraGingiraagirey releasing on November 25th.”

While the teaser introduced audiences to the fierce determination of Michael C Williams, the new glimpse video portrays Chandrakala as a strong-willed village belle with aspirations beyond her surroundings. She dreams of shining as a drama artist and eventually establishing her own troupe.

Anaswara Rajan’s scenes radiate charm, ambition, and liveliness, emphasizing that her character is pivotal to the plot. The glimpse video also highlights the budding chemistry between the characters of Roshan and Anaswara, making their love story a central and heartwarming aspect of ‘Champion.’
