Sai Pallavi’s upcoming film “Amaran,” co-starring Sivakarthikeyan, has been selected as the opening feature film in the Indian Panorama section at the festival. Film Synopsis

“Amaran” is based on “India’s Most Fearless: True Stories of Modern Military Heroes” by Shiv Aroor and Rahul Singh. The film follows Indhu (played by Sai Pallavi) as she journeys to receive the Ashoka Chakra award in memory of her late husband, Mukund (played by Sivakarthikeyan), while reflecting on his life and career.
