As the teaser for the eagerly awaited war drama “Border 2” was unveiled by the makers, Ahan Shetty took a moment to reflect on his journey since his debut film “Tadap,” which was released back in 2021.

Ahan expressed his gratitude for being entrusted with a significant project like “Border 2.” He shared several photos from the teaser launch event on his Instagram, writing, “It’s been a long journey since my first film Tadap released four years ago. A journey of patience, growth, and self-belief.”

He continued, “Coming back feels deeply personal, and being trusted with a film as powerful as Border 2 is an honour beyond words. Grateful, proud, and ready for what lies ahead.” Ahan concluded his post with a heartfelt “Jai Hind, Jai Bharat 🇮🇳.”

During the event, Ahan spoke about the invaluable advice he received from his father, actor Suniel Shetty, while preparing for “Border 2.” He revealed that this guidance helped him remain grounded and focused throughout the process.

Discussing his preparations for the role, Ahan shared, “Obviously, physicality wise I had to change a bit. But again, like Papa had said, just be honest. Just be yourself. Not that I am playing myself, but just go out there, enjoy yourself. Don’t think too much about what people have to say. And don’t compare it to Border 1. That was the most important.”

He candidly admitted, “I would like to say that the first one or two days I was petrified on set. I mean, my hands were shaking like this. Just being part of such a big film, my film Tadap came 4 years ago, in 2021. So, I had a long gap. So, to be able to just come on set with Varun, Sunny sir, to just be able to learn everything, to have the support of my producers, and to have a director like Anurag sir was a blessing in disguise, and I wouldn’t have had it any other way.”

Simu expressed that if there was one person who could make the engagement memorable, it would be Taylor. He reached out to her through her publicist, saying, “Hey, is there any way that I could convince you to make a two-second video just to say congrats?”

Just a couple of days later, Simu was thrilled when the Anti-Hero hitmaker delivered on his request, adding the perfect touch to his proposal. He remarked, “She literally, two days later, sent it over, and I was able to play it for her. Taylor Swift was the cherry on top! She is just so nice and sweet.”

An Unforgettable Reaction

Simu, who is best known for his role as Shang-Chi in the Marvel Cinematic Universe, revealed that Allison “completely lost it” when she saw the congratulatory video. “She was really emotional before, but when I played that video, she just completely lost it. She went into shock,” he said.

Simu announced their engagement in May this year, sharing photos of them in front of the Eiffel Tower and showcasing his partner’s ring.

TV actress Ashlesha Savant recently marked her one-month wedding anniversary by sharing a beautiful wedding reel on her social media account.

For those unfamiliar, Ashlesha Savant and Sandeep Baswana first met on the set of the iconic show Kyunki Saas Bhi Kabhi Bahu Thi in 2002. Ashlesha played Sandeep’s sister-in-law, Teesha Virani, while Sandeep portrayed Sahil Virani. Their friendship blossomed into romance when Ashlesha occasionally stayed at Sandeep’s home due to the distance from her own.

On the professional front, Ashlesha currently stars in the television show Jhanak. She also gained recognition for her portrayal of Barkha, Anuj’s sister-in-law, in Rupali Ganguly’s popular series ‘Anupamaa.’

Television actress Mahhi Vij recently took to her social media to express heartfelt birthday wishes for her foster daughter, Khushi Ray.

“Badho Bahu” starred Rytasha as Komal and Prince as Lakhan, and aired its finale on May 17, 2018. The show has been remade in various languages: Kannada as Brahmagantu, Tamil as Oru Oorla Oru Rajakumari, Malayalam as Swathi Nakshatram Chothi, and Telugu as Gundamma Katha.

The storyline centers on Komal, an overweight girl nicknamed Badho due to her appearance. She often undertakes challenging tasks that require physical strength. Despite her struggles, Komal is depicted as a sweet, loving, and energetic individual with a big heart, always ready to help those around her. A pivotal series of events leads to her marriage with the well-known wrestler, Lucky Singh Ahlawat.

Rytasha is also recognized for her roles in Waack Girls, Dahaad, Masaba Masaba, and Comedy Premium League, among others.

Prince Narula, celebrated for his reality show performances, has also made a mark in fictional serials. He has won several reality TV competitions including MTV Roadies 12, MTV Splitsvilla 8, Bigg Boss 9, and Nach Baliye 9. In “Badho Bahu,” he played the wrestler Lakhan “Lucky” Singh Ahlawat and appeared as Shahnawaz “Shaan” Ali in Naagin 3.

Prince married actress Yuvika Chaudhary on October 12, 2018, after they met on Bigg Boss 9. They got engaged on Valentine’s Day 2018 and are expecting their first child, a baby girl, in October 2024 through IVF.

Actress Catherine Zeta-Jones has shared her deep sorrow over the tragic shooting incident at Bondi Beach, Australia, which occurred on Sunday.

With a heavy heart, the ‘Wednesday’ actress posed some significant questions in the wake of the tragedy. She wondered why people are not allowed to celebrate their festivals peacefully and why students face rampant gun violence.

Highlighting the escalating toxicity in society, Catherine posted a heartfelt message on Instagram, stating, “After a weekend of profound sadness my heart is heavy. Why can’t Jews celebrate their holiday on a beach in Australia, without being massacred? Why can’t young students study in a classroom without being gunned down? Why do our friends need to be killed in their homes? Hate, violence and abusive rhetoric has permeated to levels of unimaginable toxicity.”

She emphasized that while disagreements are natural, resorting to violence is unacceptable.

“Across the board. Everywhere. Over 8 billion of us on this planet. We can’t expect to be liked or to like everyone. We can’t expect to agree with everyone or for everyone to agree with us. But why does one have to be killed for it? There is room for us all here on a heavenly earth. Hell is filling up pretty quick,” she added.

On December 14, a mass shooting involving two gunmen took place at Bondi Beach during a Hanukkah event called “Chanukah by the Sea,” attended by around 1,000 people. At least 15 individuals lost their lives, and numerous others were injured in this incident, which has been classified as a terrorist attack by authorities.

Although “Bigg Boss 19” has concluded, fans are still deeply engaged with the reality show. Recently, a user on X shared a video of contestant Amaal Mallik tapping his foot with former housemate Tanya Mittal in the Bigg Boss house, emphasizing that this task was the catalyst for their chemistry.

However, Amaal has urged fans not to associate him with Tanya. He clarified that their interaction was merely part of a task and should not be overanalyzed.

He expressed on social media, “Bhai yeh ek ‘TASK’ tha and it’s not right if I act all egoistic and don’t do what the host or guests come and ask of us. If the show needs some people to pair up for a task, do a dance skit or whatever it is… We have to. That’s the channel creative and you guys are constantly making this into some nonsensical romance. Furthermore, Amaal requested that fans refrain from linking them together, as doing so could damage Tanya’s reputation.

“Hichki,” “We Are Family,” and “Maharaj” director Siddharth P. Malhotra has announced the completion of the shoot for his fourth project, “Ikka,” featuring Sunny Deol and Akshaye Khanna.

In a heartfelt social media update, the director expressed gratitude towards the cast of this upcoming action thriller.
