TV actress Ashlesha Savant recently marked her one-month wedding anniversary by sharing a beautiful wedding reel on her social media account.
In her post, she included a heartfelt Sanskrit caption: “ॐ अपवित्रः पवित्रो वा सर्वावस्थां गतोऽपि वा, यः स्मरेत्पुण्डरीकाक्षं स बाह्याभ्यन्तरः शुचिः (sic).”
Ashlesha expressed her joy, saying, “One month to a blessing in Vrindavan. Thank you to everyone. We couldn’t have imagined doing this anywhere else. Our hearts belong to you. Everything was so soulful, and that was the essence of that day. #grateful #gratitude #vrindavan.”
In the wedding reel, Ashlesha looks stunning in her bridal attire, radiating happiness as she embarks on this new journey of life. The video features glimpses of the various wedding rituals and traditions. Her husband, Sandeep Baswana, is seen looking dapper in his suit. Ashlesha shares joyful moments with her family as they walk her down the aisle.
Prior to this, she had shared a series of photos and videos announcing her marriage to long-time boyfriend and fellow actor Sandeep Baswana. They joyfully captioned their wedding photos, stating, “And just like that, we stepped into a new chapter as Mr & Mrs… Tradition found its way into our hearts. For those unfamiliar, Ashlesha Savant and Sandeep Baswana first met on the set of the iconic show Kyunki Saas Bhi Kabhi Bahu Thi in 2002. Ashlesha played Sandeep’s sister-in-law, Teesha Virani, while Sandeep portrayed Sahil Virani. Their friendship blossomed into romance when Ashlesha occasionally stayed at Sandeep’s home due to the distance from her own.
On the professional front, Ashlesha currently stars in the television show Jhanak. She also gained recognition for her portrayal of Barkha, Anuj’s sister-in-law, in Rupali Ganguly’s popular series ‘Anupamaa.’
