Veteran actor Ranjeet recently showcased his dance moves at his granddaughter Deeya’s birthday celebration. The six-year-old entertainer had him grooving to the popular track “FA9LA” by Bahraini rapper Flipperachi, which is featured in the hit film ‘Dhurandhar,’ currently dominating the box office.
On Instagram, Ranjeet shared a delightful video of himself moving to the viral song, picturized on Akshay Kumar from the movie directed by Aditya Dhar. Dressed in a loose, full-length olive-green kurta, he completed the look with a printed headscarf in earthy tones, giving off a relaxed, slightly bohemian vibe.
In his caption, he expressed his joy: “Ladkiya to Mujhe nachati hi rehti hai! Ab Dekho meri 6 saal ki granddaughter Deeya ne crazy banakar apne birthday pe dance karaya & I loved it Aap log bhi baccho ke saath aisa hi karo – fit rahoge.” This translates to, “Girls always keep making me dance! Now look, my six-year-old granddaughter Deeya went all out and made me dance at her birthday, and I loved it. You all should do the same with children — you’ll stay fit.”
Ranjeet gained fame in the film industry after his notable negative role in the 1971 film ‘Sharmeelee.’ He was recommended by Sunil Dutt, who admired Ranjeet’s performance in ‘Sawan Bhadon’ and ‘Reshma Aur Shera.’ He soon established himself as a prominent villain throughout the 1970s and early 1980s, appearing in countless Hindi movies. Additionally, he has featured in the television serial ‘Aisa Des Hai Mera’ and has acted in some Punjabi films.
