The Amitabh Bachchan-hosted reality show Kaun Banega Crorepati will feature actress Ananya Panday, who will share how her family’s manifestation may have led her to the hot seat.
Family’s KBC Ritual
Ananya elaborates on her family’s long-standing obsession with KBC, which first aired in 2000. She mentions, “When my grandparents come from Delhi, we have a special ritual at home that from Monday to Friday, we sit with them and watch KBC. The whole family sits together and watches the show.”
Big B humorously interjects, “And when do they leave?” To which Ananya replies, “No, I watch it.”
A Collective Dream
During her conversation with Amitabh Bachchan, Ananya reflects, “I think it wasn’t just my dream; it was the collective dream of the Panday family that at least one person should go to Kaun Banega Crorepati, and luckily, I was the first, and I made it.”
Special Guest Appearance
Later in the show, Ananya’s father, actor Chunky Panday, joins via video call. In his signature playful manner, he expresses his misfortune at not appearing on the show despite his daughter’s presence.
Upcoming Movie Promotion
For those unfamiliar, Ananya will be appearing on KBC alongside her co-star Kartik Aaryan to promote their upcoming film, Tu Meri Main Tera Main Tera Tu Meri, scheduled for release on December 25.
