The makers of the web series ‘LBW – Love Beyond Wicket’, directed by Ganesh Karthikeyan and featuring actor Vikranth in the lead, have announced that this highly anticipated Tamil series will start streaming from January 1, 2026.

This cricket-themed web series will be available exclusively on the OTT platform Jio Hotstar. It marks Vikranth’s debut in the OTT space. Notably, he is a talented cricketer in real life and has showcased his skills during Cricket Celebrity League (CCL) matches.
Produced by Atele Factory, known for the hit series ‘Heartbeat’, ‘LBW’ is all set to premiere next year.
Engaging Storyline
The newly released promo gives a glimpse into the story of Rangan, a once-promising cricketer whose career never quite took off. Now a reluctant coach, Rangan must train an underdog team at a struggling cricket academy, determined to revive its lost legacy. Set against the backdrop of grassroots cricket, the series intricately blends sport, emotion, ambition, and redemption, depicting the essence of fighting for a second chance—both on and off the field.
