Actress Radhika Apte has expressed that she has absolutely no fear of missing out on anything.
In a recent conversation, Radhika, who has relocated to London and frequently travels back to India for work, was asked whether her decision to not be permanently based in Mumbai affects her ability to land good roles.
She clarified her stance, stating, “If I want to do something, I’ll come there. And if I miss it, I miss it. There’s something else I have here. So, I don’t believe in that.”
Radhika emphasized that she does not experience any feelings of FOMO (fear of missing out). “I don’t have any FOMO about missing out on anything. I don’t think anything is as big as we think it is, you know.”
On the work front, Radhika is set to appear in the upcoming thriller “Saali Mohabbat.”
She described her character, Smita, as a housewife who loves gardening and leads a quiet life. “She’s very happy in her house, her husband, and her garden, but then something happens, and you go on a very different, thrilling ride, really,” she explained.
Radhika further noted that “Saali Mohabbat” portrays the story of an introverted woman who is a plant lover and a simple housewife.
Discussing what attracted her to this unique character, she mentioned, “It’s very different; it’s not like any other crime thriller that you might have seen recently in Indian cinema. At a time when everyone feels the need for fast-paced, action-driven stories, this film contrasts that. It has such subtlety, such silences, and atmospheric tension. It is very still and calm. That was something that was very exciting about it.”
