The trailer for “Ikkis” resonates with the heroic sacrifice of Arun Khetarpal, the youngest Param Vir Chakra awardee during the 1971 war. Earlier, the filmmakers shared a heartfelt poem written by the veteran actor. Titled “Aj bhi ji karda hai, pind apne nu jaanwa,” the poem reflects Dharmendra’s nostalgia and longing for his beloved pind (village).

Cast and Release Date

The upcoming film features Agastya Nanda as Arun Khetarpal, the heroic soldier who was martyred at 21 during the 1971 Battle of Basantar in the Indo-Pak war. “Ikkis” also stars Jaideep Ahlawat and Sikander Kher.

Originally slated for a December 2025 release, “Ikkis” will now hit theatres on January 1, 2026.
