Bollywood superstar Salman Khan’s brother Sohail recently shared a heartfelt picture of their parents, Salim Khan and Salma Khan, calling them the “two most adorable people” in his life.
Sohail took to Instagram to post the cherished photo, celebrating their remarkable 61st wedding anniversary. In his caption, he simply wrote: “Adorable two persons in my life.”
Salim Khan married Salma on November 18, 1964, and together they have four children: three sons—Salman, Arbaaz, and Sohail—and one daughter, Alvira.
A closer look at Sohail’s career reveals his beginnings as a film producer and director. He made his directorial debut with the 1997 action thriller Auzaar, featuring his brother Salman and Sanjay Kapoor. Following this, he directed both Salman and Arbaaz in the hit film Pyaar Kiya To Darna Kya and the less successful Hello Brother.
In 2002, Sohail made significant strides by writing, producing, directing, and acting in Maine Dil Tujhko Diya. His first major success came with Maine Pyaar Kyun Kiya?. He also wrote the story, produced, and starred in the multi-starrer Fight Club – Members Only, and in 2007, he produced the film Partner.
Sohail continued to diversify his portfolio by appearing in Hello and Heroes in 2008, and co-starring with his brother Arbaaz in Kisaan the following year. He also featured in Main Aur Mrs Khanna and Do Knot Disturb. In 2010, he was seen in Veer and later returned to direction with Jai Ho. In 2016, he directed Freaky Ali, which starred Nawazuddin Siddiqui, and made his acting comeback in 2017 alongside Salman in Tubelight.
Currently, Salman is hosting “Bigg Boss 19” and will soon appear in the film “The Battle Of Galwan.” This upcoming film is set against the backdrop of the Galwan standoff between India and China on June 15, 2020, which occurred during the height of the first wave of the Covid-19 pandemic in India.
