Actress Shriya Pilgaonkar has shared a gentle, poetic note reflecting her time in the hills, capturing the tranquil rhythm of winter days and the small joys they bring.
Shriya, daughter of Sachin and Supriya Pilgaonkar, took to Instagram to share a series of pictures from her mountainous getaway.
In her heartfelt reflection, she described “gaddi dogs and ginger-lemon honey tea purple flowers,” painting a vivid picture of slow mornings spent sunbathing on quiet rooftops beneath clear blue skies.
She wrote: “Notes from the hills Of gaddi dogs and winter lines, ginger-lemon honey tea and purple flowers… sunbathing on quiet rooftops under wide blue skies.”
Shriya also shared how postcards turned into wishes, old friendships were rekindled around a warm fireplace, and the “mountain magic” that slowly brings inner calm.
“Postcards turning into wishes, Old friendships around a fireplace mountain magic becoming inner peace,” she expressed.
On the film front, Shriya will next appear in Haiwaan, directed by Priyadarshan. The film commenced shooting in August this year and marks the reunion of Bollywood superstars Akshay Kumar and Saif Ali Khan after 18 years.
Saif and Akshay last collaborated in Tashan, which was both a commercial and critical failure.
In addition, Priyadarshan and Akshay Kumar are working together on a project titled Bhoot Bangla. This horror drama is expected to release towards the end of 2025, reuniting one of Hindi cinema’s most successful actor-director pairs.
Shriya made her acting debut with the Marathi film Ekulti Ek in 2013, which earned her the Maharashtra State Film Award for Best Debut. After debuting in Hindi with Fan, she established herself through successful web series such as Mirzapur, Guilty Minds, The Broken News, and Taaza Khabar, alongside her film Ishq-e-Nadaan.
