Composer and singer Shekhar Ravjiani recently shared a heartfelt note on social media, reflecting on his memorable experience on the sets of ‘Kaun Banega Crorepati 17.’
Excitement and Nerves
Shekhar admitted that he was both excited and nervous before meeting Amitabh Bachchan. His anxiety amusingly arose from not knowing what to wear for the special occasion. Taking to his Instagram handle, Shekhar posted several photos with the veteran actor and expressed his feelings about the day.
He wrote, “When I got a call from @arunsheshkumar, the director of KBC, inviting me to the show, I was excited, thrilled and nervous, all at once, to be invited to play KBC with Sir @amitabhbachchan. Nervous coz I didn’t know what to wear. As always, I could count on my fav @ashley_rebello to rapidly get my look sorted with his brilliantly designed achkan. Looked terrific even if I say so myself!”
A Day Full of Music and Rehearsals
Shekhar began the day with a music session with Karan Johar, presenting a song for #tumerimainteramainteratumeri, which went extremely well. He noted, “It’s always a brilliant start to the day with my dearest Karan.” The day beautifully transitioned into an afternoon at Film City, where they rehearsed for their performance and met the amazing crew members at KBC and Sony TV.
He praised their dedication saying, “What fabulous work, passion and enthusiasm!!! Bravo!!! You guys are the best!”
Meeting Sir B
Afterward, it was finally time to meet the legendary Amitabh Bachchan. Shekhar received his blessings and a warm hug, and then it was time to settle into the hot seat. “What a blast it was!” he shared.
