Ending months of speculation, Samantha Ruth Prabhu’s “Maa Inti Bangaram” finally went on the floor with a mahurat ceremony on Monday.
The ‘Kushi’ actress shared a few glimpses from the ceremony on her official Instagram handle, where she donned a vibrant orange salwar kameez. Her furry friend, Hash, was also in attendance, making the occasion even more special.
In one of the photos, Samantha’s pet is seen with the caption, “What you looking at? They are busy shooting.” In her post, she expressed her excitement: “Started our journey with the Muhurtham of #MaaIntiBangaram, surrounded by love & blessings. ✨ We can’t wait to share with you what we’re creating… need all your love and support as we begin this special film. ❤️ #MIB #Samantha #TralalaMovingPictures.”
Recently, Samantha confirmed that the shoot for her long-awaited film “Maa Inti Bangaram” would commence this month. During a Q&A session on Instagram, a fan inquired about her upcoming Telugu project. Responding enthusiastically, she stated, “Finally, I have an answer to this question. Maa Inti Bangaram is finally starting this month,” which left movie buffs delighted.
Samantha has also spoken candidly about her journey and the scrutiny she has faced, particularly concerning her personal life, including her separation and health struggles.
While addressing her experiences at the NDTV World Summit 2025, she reflected, “Anyone who has followed my journey is aware of the personal struggles… My separation, illness, everything has been very, very public. You are constantly judged for being vulnerable; you’re constantly trolled for being vulnerable.”
On her performance in the popular “Oo Antava” song from Allu Arjun’s “Pushpa: The Rise,” she shared her thoughts: “I did Oo Antava to see if I could. It was a challenge that I gave myself. I never considered myself sexy. No one was ever going to give me a ‘bold role’. It was a one-time thing.”
Stay tuned for more updates on “Maa Inti Bangaram” as production progresses!
