Bollywood superstar Salman Khan is known for his eternal bachelor status in the Hindi film industry, but he holds a deep fondness for kids and has expressed a desire to become a parent one day.
In a recent episode of the streaming chat show ‘Two Much With Kajol and Twinkle,’ alongside fellow superstar Aamir Khan, Salman shared his perspectives on life and parenthood.
When Twinkle Khanna, the show host, inquired about the rumors of him wanting to adopt a child, Salman responded negatively but conveyed his wish to have kids in the future. He remarked, “Children, I will have one day soon. It’s just that eventually one will have kids, but let’s see.”
He elaborated on the support system he has in place for a future child, stating, “There’s a whole village, a district, my family. The women in my family are there to take care of the children. Alizeh has grown up, Ayaan has grown up. Now we have Aayat. By the time I have kids, Aayat will be able to take care of them.”
Alizeh and Ayaan Agnihotri are the children of actor-producer Atul Agnihotri and Alvira Khan Agnihotri, who is Salman’s sister.
During the show, Salman also reflected on his past relationships, expressing that insecurity often arises when one partner grows more than the other. He stated, “So they both need to grow together. Both need to get off each other’s backs. I believe that.”
Additionally, he discussed his struggles with trigeminal neuralgia, a chronic pain disorder affecting the trigeminal nerve, which carries sensation from the face to the brain. Salman revealed that he experiences severe facial pain resembling an electric shock, but noted that his condition has improved after battling it for over seven years. He added, “I wouldn’t wish it on my worst enemy.”
