Rajat Bedi Returns to Amritsar After 10 Years: Thanks Bollywood for Making His Family Famous

Bollywood actor Rajat Bedi arrived in Amritsar today, describing his visit as both spiritual and emotional during a media interaction at the airport.

Celebrity Status for Family

Bedi shared that due to his latest show, *Ba**ds of Bollywood, which marks his return to the industry, not only has he gained recognition, but his entire family has also achieved celebrity status. “God has blessed us with immense love for my son, my daughter, my wife, and myself. With just one show, we achieved the kind of recognition and celebrity status we never had before. God has truly been kind,” he stated.

A Legacy in the Industry

Talking about his family background, Rajat mentioned, “My grandfather, Rajinder Singh Bedi, was from Lahore. He was a legendary writer and Urdu poet. I am the third generation in the industry, and soon my son will also be entering it.” He reflected on his career, noting, “I have done many Punjabi films and returned to Bollywood after 20 years. With *Ba**ds of Bollywood, it was my first time doing comedy, but now I want to move into action again. I have already been offered a few projects in that genre. I have worked with 90% of the top Bollywood actors, except Aamir Khan and Ajay Devgn. Looking forward to doing great work.”

Paying Respects at Sri Harmandir Sahib

Rajat expressed his intention to visit Sri Harmandir Sahib to pay his respects. “I have come to express my gratitude to Guru Sahib,” he said. He emphasized that the shrine is not just an ordinary religious place; it serves as a center of spiritual peace and solace.

He added that everyone who visits the holy shrine experiences a unique sense of calmness and inner strength. Rajat expressed pride and joy at the opportunity to visit the Guru’s abode once again.

Savoring the Flavors of Amritsar

In addition to his spiritual journey, Rajat praised the delicious cuisine of Amritsar. He noted that the langar, kulchas, chole, and overall flavors of the city are simply unbeatable.
