Bollywood actress Karisma Kapoor is celebrating the birthday of her “most precious sister,” actress Kareena Kapoor Khan.
On Sunday, Karisma shared a throwback picture on her Instagram featuring herself and Kareena. In this heartfelt image, Kareena can be seen hugging her sister. She captioned the post, “Best sister, Best friends and Beyond. Happy birthday to my most precious sister. Love you mostest.”
Karisma Kapoor and Kareena Kapoor Khan belong to the iconic Kapoor clan, renowned in Hindi cinema for generations. This family is recognized as the first film dynasty of Hindi cinema. They are daughters of Randhir Kapoor and Babita, and granddaughters of the legendary Raj Kapoor.
Kareena, born on September 21, 1980, carries forward a powerful legacy while establishing her unique identity through versatile roles across various genres. She has starred in numerous hits such as ‘Kabhi Khushi Kabhie Gham,’ ‘Jab We Met,’ and ‘Laal Singh Chaddha,’ successfully balancing both commercial and critically acclaimed cinema.
In 2012, she married Saif Ali Khan, an actor and Nawab of Pataudi, bringing together two influential film and cultural lineages, which made them one of Bollywood’s celebrated power couples.
On the personal front, Karisma Kapoor has been dealing with some challenges as her children, Samaira Kapoor and Kiaan Kapoor, filed a petition in the Delhi High Court seeking a share in the property of their late father, industrialist Sunjay Kapur.
The siblings have accused Sunjay Kapur’s third wife, Priya Kapur, of tampering with his will in an attempt to claim the entire estate. Their petition in the Delhi High Court requests that one-fifth of the property be allocated to each child as legal heirs of Sunjay Kapur.
Through their legal representatives, the children have claimed they maintained regular contact with their father through meetings, visits, holidays, video calls, and messages, including various WhatsApp groups they shared with him.
