Huma Qureshi Opens Up About Embracing Success and Failure: “I Truly Enjoy My Work”

In a remarkable journey spanning over a decade in the Hindi entertainment industry, actress Huma Qureshi, whose latest release is “Maharani 4,” reflects on her understanding of success, recognition, and failure. She asserts that her perspective has not dramatically changed over the years but has instead evolved into something more grounded and healthier.

Career Highlights

Huma made her debut in 2012 with the critically acclaimed “Gangs of Wasseypur,” and has experienced a mix of hits and misses in her career. Her impressive filmography includes titles such as “Ek Thi Daayan,” “Dedh Ishqiya,” “Badlapur,” “Jolly LLB 2,” “Kaala,” “Leila,” “Viceroy’s House,” “Dobaara: See Your Evil,” “Bell Bottom,” “Double XL,” “Tarla,” “Army of the Dead,” and “Monica, O My Darling,” among others.

Personal Growth

Reflecting on her journey, Huma revealed that the significant shift has been an internal one. She stated, “It’s not transformed. I think it’s become better. I’ve connected with myself more as an artist and as a person, as a woman.” This deeper connection has allowed her to approach her work without the emotional baggage often associated with the industry.

“I think I’m just able to function without any of the baggage. I’m just able to enjoy my work and have fun and really. I mean, I can’t complain,” she added.
