The makers of director Sooriyaprathap’s sci-fi crime thriller, ‘ROOT – Running Out of Time’, featuring actor Gautham Ram Karthik in the lead, have announced the successful wrap of the film’s second shooting schedule.

Health Challenges Overcome
Notably, shortly after the first filming schedule, actor Gautham Karthik faced a health scare, as he was hospitalized for around 10 days due to Dengue. Despite this setback, the team completed the second schedule without significant delays.
Star Cast and Characters
In this gripping film, Gautham Ram Karthik will portray a compelling role. The movie also marks the Tamil cinema debut of Bollywood star Aparshakti Khurana, known for his impressive performances in Hindi films. Actress Bhavya Trikha plays the female lead, while veteran actor Y Gee Mahendran will be featured in a pivotal role.
Produced by Dhanishtan Fernando, Rajarajan Gananasambandam, Sanjai Shankar, and Shaik Mujeeb under the Verus Productions banner, the film promises to be an edge-of-the-seat thriller.

Director Sooriyaprathap S is celebrated for his creative vision in “Naalaiya Iyakkunar – Season 1″ and for his role as associate director in “Kochadaiiyaan,” featuring Superstar Rajinikanth.
