National Award-Winning Drama “Chalo Jeete Hain” Set for Special Re-Release
“Chalo Jeete Hain,” the acclaimed National Award-winning drama, is preparing for a special re-release across India on Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s 75th birthday, which falls on Wednesday.
Ektaa Kapoor’s Enthusiasm
Television mogul Ektaa Kapoor expressed her excitement regarding the film’s re-release. She described the decision as “a thoughtful & inspiring initiative.”
On her official X (formerly known as Twitter) account, Ektaa shared her thoughts: “Hon. PM Shri @narendramodi ji, you have taken such a thoughtful & inspiring initiative. The re-release of #ChaloJeeteHain with #SevaKaSanman will truly honour the silent heroes of our society. Warm wishes in advance to you sir,” accompanied by a folded hands emoji.
Screening Dates
According to a press release shared by the Ministry of Information & Broadcasting, “Chalo Jeete Hain” will be screened nationwide from September 17 to October 2.
Producer’s Vision
Mahaveer Jain, the producer, stated in the press release, “This movement carries a deeply powerful message. It will inspire millions of young minds about valuing and respecting every work and each individual. It reinforces the timeless values of selflessness, empathy, and duty to the nation—a true tribute to our Prime Minister.”
He added, “Through this film, we hope to ignite a spark in the hearts of youth, encouraging them to live a life of purpose and to contribute positively to society.”
About the Film
For those unfamiliar, “Chalo Jeete Hain” draws inspiration from a childhood incident in Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s life. The story revolves around young Naru, who is deeply influenced by the teachings of Swami Vivekananda and seeks to understand their significance.
Directed by Mangesh Hadawale, the film features Dhairya Darji as Naru, Dev Modi as Harish, Dipti Avlan as Hiraben, Rajeev Saxena as Damodar, Ajay Kumar as Guruji, and Lata S. Singh as Kamla.
Jointly produced by Hadawale, Mahaveer Jain, and Bhushan Kumar, “Chalo Jeete Hain” first hit theatres on July 11.
