Bigg Boss 19 fourth runner-up and singer Amaal Mallik recently shared a heartwarming moment with his father, Daboo Mallik, a well-known music composer, on social media. In the touching photo, Daboo is seen planting a kiss on Amaal’s cheek, captioning it as “A Lifetime in a Moment.”
During his time in the BB19 house, Amaal often spoke about his close bond with his father. He opened up to his housemates about the family’s struggles, including his father’s career challenges and financial woes involving a substantial loan of Rs. 3.5 crore.
In a recent exclusive interview, Amaal reflected on discussing personal family issues on national television. When asked if he regretted sharing such intimate details, he confidently stated that he had no regrets. “My journey has been honest, and I’m not afraid to speak my truth,” he shared.
Amaal emphasized that he was committed to telling his story fully, regardless of how it might impact his image or social media following. “If someone asks me about my entire journey, I will answer honestly. Some things my parents felt I could have said differently—naturally, their perspective is different. They weren’t living inside that house. But I spoke from my heart,” he explained.
He also mentioned the family’s financial difficulties, stating, “We had a loan of Rs 3.5-4 crore because of multiple reasons, and no one, neither my uncle nor anyone, helped us.” In addition, Amaal revealed that these challenges were intensified by his grandfather’s serious illness. He noted that he has never relied on his father’s or family’s popularity to build his career.
