The Central Board of Film Certification (CBFC) has granted a U/A certificate to director Vikarnan Ashok’s highly anticipated Tamil film, ‘Mask’, starring actor Kavin in the lead role.

Set to hit screens worldwide on November 21 this year, the film has generated significant buzz among fans.

Black Madras Films, the production house behind the movie, announced the certification on its X timeline, stating, “#Mask – certified with a U/A. All set and ready to strike cinemas on November 21st.”

Star Cast and Roles

Sources reveal that Andrea, who is also producing the film, is set to portray the antagonist. This marks her second role as a villain, following her performance in director Vetri Maran’s ‘Vada Chennai.’

Moreover, this film will see Kavin taking on an explosive action role for the first time in his career.

Speculations and Directorial Contributions

The promotional posters for ‘Mask’ featured the phrase ‘Vaathiyaaraga Vetri Maran,’ leading to speculation about director Vetrimaran’s role in the film. However, the recently released first single clarified that he serves as a mentor for this project.
