Actor Raghav Juyal, currently enjoying the success of “Bads of Bollywood,” has announced an exciting transformation for his role in the highly anticipated Telugu action entertainer, “Paradise.”

The actor, who has garnered praise from audiences and critics for his recent performance, took to social media to reveal his upcoming look. In a video shared on Instagram, Raghav said, “Sharing this because it’s the last time you’ll see me like this! I’m changing my look for my next film, ‘Paradise’. Once the transformation starts, I’ll be staying quiet till we reveal it. We’ve started shooting in Hyderabad. I’m very excited. I hope you all like my Telugu debut. Love you all.”

Raghav Juyal previously expressed his enthusiasm during the script reading session for “Paradise,” directed by Srikanth Odela, stating he couldn’t wait to join Natural Star Nani on the film’s sets. “Paradise” is set to be released in eight languages, including Telugu, Hindi, Tamil, Kannada, Malayalam, Bengali, English, and Spanish. The film is touted as Nani’s most ambitious project to date and is produced by Sudhakar Cherukuri under the SLV Cinemas banner. Nani and director Srikanth Odela are reuniting for this film after their successful collaboration on the blockbuster “Dussehra.”

Springsteen commended Graham’s work in ‘Springsteen: Delivery Me From Nowhere’. In this Searchlight biopic directed by Scott Cooper, Graham plays Bruce’s father, Douglas Springsteen. He stars alongside Jeremy Allen White, who portrays the rocker during the creation of his iconic 1982 album ‘Nebraska’.

During a special Q&A session at Spotify’s London headquarters with White, Springsteen shared his admiration, stating that Graham “really embodied the physicality and emotional complexity of my father.” He acknowledged the complexities of his relationship with his father, saying, “He was very troubled, an alcoholic, bipolar, and quite mentally ill. Stephen just naturally inhabited his skin and his soul, particularly as an older man; he’s the spitting image of him. Towards the end of the film, you get a sense of my father’s invulnerability and his sweetness.”

Jeremy Allen White’s Preparation

According to ‘Variety’, White revealed he learned to play the guitar using a rare 1955 Gibson J200, a gift from Springsteen as he prepared for his role. He noted, “That became the guitar in the film.” Additionally, he humorously mentioned bringing a jump rope to the set, mistakenly believing he would need it to maintain his heart rate and keep sweating between takes for the performance scenes.

He remarked, “For some reason, I thought my stamina would be more than Bruce’s. It turns out that was completely unnecessary; that sweat comes naturally, that heart rate gets lifted, and the adrenaline gets going. So I didn’t need to use it; Bruce-level energy comes naturally when you’re up there.”

Filmmaker Kiran Rao, whose directorial venture ‘Laapataa Ladies’ has impressively bagged 13 Filmfare Awards, has recently shared insights into the film’s production design and art direction.

Visual Texture That Stands Out

One aspect that truly shines in the film—besides its compelling performances and engaging storyline—is the meticulously designed visual texture.

When probed further about the production design, Kiran Rao explained, “A lot of this film, I felt would work only, if we created this world that was textural. It had some of the beauty of Indian villages without being unrealistic, without trying to beautify it or make it glamorous. Also, we didn’t want it to be too culturally specific but draw from the various kinds of local art and craft that we have.”

She elaborated on the collaborative effort with her production designer, Vikram Singh, stating, “We worked for at least 6 months prior to the film.”

Kiran noted, “We were not just immersing ourselves in a lot of photographs of villages from the last 20 years because some things have changed in the last 20 years. We wanted villages that were on the cusp of change. Not too remote and not too much stuck in time. The district where Jaya comes to do her printing and all of that, we wanted to mimic in the sense of what a small town close to a village would be. So, a lot of time went into visual research; we studied a lot of photography and also looked into various local art forms, especially traditional painting on the outside and inside of village homes.”

Presented by Jio Studios, ‘Laapataa Ladies’ is directed by Kiran Rao and produced by Aamir Khan and Jyoti Deshpande. The film is a collaborative effort under the banners of Aamir Khan Productions and Kindling Productions.
