Bollywood actress Wamiqa Gabbi is set to appear in an upcoming film with Karan Johar’s Dharma Productions, a project she describes as surreal, feeling like a childhood dream realized.
“It feels surreal,” Wamiqa expressed. “I’ve grown up on these films. To now be part of that world is pure joy.” For her, this collaboration is more than just a notable banner; it resonates with her nostalgia for the times spent watching Hindi films as a child.
“Dharma films, YRF, and everything Sanjay Leela Bhansali created were a huge part of my childhood. Those films shaped how I viewed cinema,” she shared. “So to now be doing a film with Dharma Productions feels surreal.”
She continues, “It’s nostalgic, emotional, and honestly, pure joy. I’m very happy and excited to see myself in that world. There’s always a special Dharma touch you feel when you watch one of their films.”
On the work front, Wamiqa was last seen in “Bhool Chuk Maaf,” a fantasy romantic comedy directed by Karan Sharma, featuring Rajkummar Rao and Seema Pahwa.
Additionally, she will be part of the much-anticipated sequel “Pati Patni Aur Woh 2,” which co-stars Ayushmaan Khurrana and Sara Ali Khan. Directed by Mudassar Aziz, the film is set for theatrical release next Holi on March 4, 2026.

“Bhooth Bangla” is helmed by Priyadarshan, reuniting the iconic trio of Priyadarshan, Akshay Kumar, and Paresh Rawal. The film will feature Tabu, Rajpal Yadav, and Mithila Palkar in significant roles, among others.
Produced by Shobha Kapoor and Ektaa R Kapoor’s Balaji Telefilms in collaboration with Akshay Kumar’s Cape of Good Films, “Bhooth Bangla” is co-produced by Faara Sheikh and Vedant Baali.
