Director Gopichand Malineni’s highly anticipated historical film starring Nandamuri Balakrishna and Nayanthara commenced production with a grand pooja ceremony.

The collaboration between Gopichand Malineni and Nandamuri Balakrishna has created significant buzz, especially after their successful blockbuster, ‘Veera Simha Reddy’.
Gopichand shared his excitement on X, stating, “Big day!! A new beginning… a new benchmark. This HISTORICAL ROAR, this vision…is finally taking its first breath. Epic Scale Production
This film, tentatively titled #NBK111, is produced by Venkata Satish Kilaru under the Vriddhi Cinemas banner, known for its recent project ‘Peddi’. Nayanthara will star opposite Balakrishna, marking their fourth collaboration following ‘Simha’, ‘Jai Simha’, and ‘Sri Rama Rajyam’.
The majestic launch of the film on Wednesday featured the official script handover by Andhra Pradesh Ministers Anagani Satya Prasad and Gottipati Ravi Kumar. Director B Gopal, known for his previous successes with Balakrishna, initiated the clapboard while NBK’s daughter Tejaswini switched on the camera.

The inaugural shot was a collective effort directed by Boyapati Sreenu, Bobby, and Buchi Babu. The ceremony was graced by numerous renowned directors, producers, and distinguished guests, enhancing the event’s significance.
Gopichand Malineni is stepping into the historical drama genre for the first time, aiming to present a grand narrative showcasing Balakrishna in a unique avatar. The special poster revealed Balakrishna as a powerful king, armed with a sword and anchor, exuding a commanding presence with his long hair and beard.
