I am water. She says whatever she wants to. I just keep myself calm and quiet. Just listen and try to understand what she’s trying to say.” He further added, “Do whatever you want, but listen. I think every husband should be a good listener.”

Saif humorously noted that sometimes it’s enough to “just act like you’re listening.” He recounted his father’s advice during arguments: to listen quietly, maintain eye contact with your partner, and think about something else instead of speaking. Saif said, “He told me, ‘I just think about playing cricket or something during the argument. And I don’t say anything. He said, ‘Listen.’ Look like you’re listening.”

Memories of Friendship

In a light-hearted moment, Saif recalled visiting Kajol’s home, jokingly mentioning he had no recollection of taking a shower in her bathroom. Twinkle interjected, “She had a little camera there. So, we have some images which she shared with me.” Saif responded, “A little camera to capture little things…You were the first person I met in terms of movies when I came to Bombay. And we were living next to each other. Yes, I remember your house and your flat.”

Kajol reminisced about her mother, Tanuja, telling Saif, “If you want to take a bath here, just go ahead.” The trio fondly recalled their early days in Mumbai, sharing anecdotes about the late actor Saeed Jaffrey and even a surprising bathroom mishap involving him.

The film’s shooting commenced in July this year, having originally been slated to begin in the last week of June. The crew announced that significant talkie portions featuring Vijay Sethupathi and Samyuktha would be filmed during this schedule, raising high expectations among fans and film buffs.

Produced by Puri Jagannadh under the banner of Puri Connects, the film will be presented by Charmi Kaur in collaboration with JB Motion Pictures and JB Narayan Rao Kondrolla. This partnership aims to enhance the film’s grandeur further.

Samyuktha plays the female lead alongside Vijay Sethupathi, while Tabu and Vijay Kumar are set to portray pivotal roles. Sources indicate that Samyuktha’s character will be integral to the narrative, with plenty of opportunities for performance and emotional depth. The actress is reportedly excited about her role and the story.

The team conducted an extensive recce in Hyderabad and Chennai to finalize locations for the first schedule.

Puri Jagannadh, known for his vibrant storytelling style, is set to helm this ambitious project, which promises to be a full-on mass and commercial entertainer. It will feature a unique storyline that blends Puri’s signature style with Vijay Sethupathi’s magnetic screen presence.

Bollywood actor Ranvir Shorey took a moment to honor his late mother, Rajeshwari Shorey, on her death anniversary.

Sharing an emotional note on social media, Ranvir reminisced about the fateful morning when he lost her 22 years ago. Expressing his everlasting grief, he shared how he misses her deeply every year and continues to shed tears for her. On his Instagram handle, he posted a rare, blurred picture of his mother sitting on a couch and smiling. Along with the photo, the actor wrote a heartfelt message about his enduring loss.

In his caption, the ‘Tiger 3’ actor mentioned, “Today, October 9th, marks 22 years since my mother, Rajeshwari Shorey, passed away. I was asleep when she left us that fateful morning 22 years ago…I cry this night every year since then. Miss you, mama. Om Shanti.”

Ranvir had previously opened up about this profound loss during his time on “Bigg Boss OTT 3,” describing it as one of the most painful and emotional experiences he has ever faced. He shared, “In 2002, I was shooting for Lakshya in Ladakh when I got a call from home informing me that my mother was not well. But I couldn’t leave the set, since the shoot was still in progress. Fortunately, when I returned to Bombay, she was okay and discharged from the hospital. A few days later, she passed away at home. It remains the biggest trauma of my life.”

On the work front, the 53-year-old actor was recently seen in the series “Bindiya Ke Bahubali.” Set in a fictional madhouse city called Bindiya, the series also featured Tannishtha Chatterjee, Govind Namdev, Saurabh Shukla, Seema Biswas, and Sushant Singh.

In the upcoming episode of “Bigg Boss 19,” housemates Mridul Tiwari and Malti Chahar will engage in a heated verbal exchange.

A new promo shared by the channel on Instagram shows Mridul locking horns with Malti, who entered the “Bigg Boss” house as a wildcard during the Weekend Ka Vaar episode.

Mridul states, “I have never said anything to anyone.” To this, Malti responds, “He is mad. When he had to say he didn’t say and now he is saying what he wants to say.”

In a sharp retort, Mridul says, “I thought I would abuse him so much that he would feel ashamed.” He adds, “No, I will listen to my own words. If I see you again, I will ask you.” Malti then tells him to move away.

The production house confirmed plans to bring major productions to various locations across the United Kingdom starting in early 2026. The premise of ‘DDLJ’ is set in the heart of London and tells the story of second-generation Indian immigrants who fall in love and choose a different path, ultimately uniting in India, their homeland. Prime Minister Starmer’s visit to Yash Raj Films reflects India’s growing social and cultural prominence on the world stage. The film starred Bollywood superstars Shah Rukh Khan and Kajol in lead roles.

This visit also marks the commencement of the 30th anniversary celebrations of ‘DDLJ,’ set to begin on October 20, 2025.

Television actor Aly Goni recently shared a glimpse of his fun-filled trip to Abu Dhabi with partner and actress Jasmin Bhasin.

Vishnu Edavan described his film as a wholesome family entertainer that delves into the theme of true love. Reports suggest that filming is currently ongoing in and around Chennai, with approximately 20 days of shooting already completed. The film features seven songs, with two songs already picturized.

Expectations are high, especially since this marks the first collaboration between Nayanthara and Kavin.

The next shooting schedule of director Buchi Babu Sana’s eagerly awaited action film ‘Peddi’, featuring Telugu star Ram Charan in the lead role, is set to begin in Pune on Friday.

Sources close to the film’s unit report that work on this highly anticipated rural action drama is progressing swiftly. Produced by Venkata Satish Kilaru under Vriddhi Cinemas and presented by Mythri Movie Makers and Sukumar Writings, the film is being made on a grand scale.

The team is gearing up for its upcoming shooting schedule, starting Friday in Pune. A spectacular song featuring Ram Charan and the leading lady, Janhvi Kapoor, will be shot during this period.

Composed by Academy Award-winning maestro AR Rahman, the track is expected to be a soulful melody. With renowned choreographer Jani Master crafting the choreography, this song is poised to be a visual treat, capturing the vibrant chemistry between the lead pair and showcasing captivating dance moves.

It’s worth noting that the unit of ‘Peddi’ had previously filmed another grand song featuring an impressive 1,000 dancers. This was shot in Mysore during the Vinayaka Chavithi festival, a day when many chose to relax. The grand song, featuring Ram Charan, was also choreographed by the popular Jani Master.

Sources indicate that post-production work is ongoing as well. The team is working tirelessly to ensure the project remains on schedule.

Ram Charan has undergone a complete transformation for his role. The stellar cast also includes Kannada superstar Shiva Rajkumar in a significant supporting role, alongside Jagapathi Babu and Divyendu Sharma in key parts.

With a top-notch technical crew on board, ‘Peddi’ promises a rich cinematic experience. R Rathnavelu is responsible for cinematography, while National Award-winning editor Navin Nooli oversees the editing process.

‘Peddi’ is slated for a grand Pan-India theatrical release on March 27, 2026, coinciding with Ram Charan’s birthday.
