The actress added, “She is truly extraordinary and as I celebrate her everyday, today we all get to share in it! Please join me in wishing a huge Happy Birthday to this 80 year old queen goddess! We love you Mama”.

Reflecting on his own parenting experience, he added that it was very difficult for him to accept how to behave like a modern father.

“Things that I grew up with, which were totally acceptable, where we love and adore our parents for what they did to make us who we are today, I can’t do that with my son anymore. So, I have to redefine the rules for myself as a father to have the same amount of impact so that he turns out that way.”

Giving movie buffs another reason to watch the family entertainer, the ‘Rehnaa Hai Terre Dil Mein’ actor added, “So, this film also the reason you should see this film, god forbid, god willing, you may see a situation like this in your family, and we’ve got a solution for it. We’re exploring options if such an event were to occur in your family, and that’s what makes it so much more exciting.”

PARENTING AND GENERATIONAL DIFFERENCES

Speaking about the generational differences and parenting style, Madhavan’s co-star Ajay Devgn added, “In today’s times, the youth have and think that they have the right to make their own choices. You cannot deny them or defy them, I would say. So, in a society like today, it’s not exactly a taboo; there is a conflict but there are different points of view and you can’t deny that both the points of view are right or wrong, both have their pluses and minuses. That conflict is very interesting.”

Actor Siddhant Chaturvedi revealed that he was going through something of his own while shooting for “Do Deewane Seher Mein.”

About the film
Sanjay Leela Bhansali’s forthcoming productions, “Do Deewane Seher Mein,” features Siddhant Chaturvedi alongside Mrunal Thakur. Directed by Ravi Udyawar, the film is slated to hit theatres on 20 February. On November 21, the makers announced the film on social media, writing, “Do dil, ek seher, aur ek imperfectly perfect prem kahani! The makers of director C V Kumar’s eagerly awaited sci‑fi thriller ‘XY’, which interestingly is also a part of the director’s Maayavan Cinematic Universe (MCU), have now announced that shooting for the film has been wrapped up.

On Friday, director C V Kumar, who is also known for producing several landmark films in Tamil cinema, took to his social media timelines to announce the completion of shooting for the film.

He wrote, “It’s a wrap for #XY #Maayavan Cinematic Universe. A new code of destiny begins… A @icvkumar Film.”

After the phenomenal success of ‘Maayavan’ — a critically acclaimed sci‑fi film in Tamil, Telugu, Hindi, Kannada, ace filmmaker C V Kumar decided it was time to expand the world of ‘Maayavan’ into a Cinematic Universe with his ambitious next project titled ‘XY’.

Sources close to the unit claim that ‘XY’, which has been written and directed by C. V. Kumar, promises to redefine the science fiction genre in Indian cinema, blending groundbreaking concepts with high‑octane storytelling, visual grandeur, and an emotional core that is likely to resonate with audiences.

Technical team

The film boasts of a quality technical team. It will have cinematography by Hariharan Anandarajah, bringing a bold and futuristic visual language. Music for the film is by Srikant, who has worked with Oscar winner A. R. Rahman and was part of the Grammy‑winning album ‘Divine Tides’. The film will have editing by the accomplished P K and art direction by Kesav.

Cast

The film’s cast is an exciting mix of stars and fresh talent. Rathika Ravindhar, a popular artiste from the Telugu film industry, will be seen playing the lead along with Aniz Prabakar, making his debut.

The lead pair will be supported by Varshini Venkat, Brana, Pragadeesh, Srithar, Rowdy Baby Varshu, and Cheran Academy Hussian, who enrich the cinematic universe with diverse and memorable performances.

Actor Arya Babbar took to social media to celebrate the golden wedding anniversary of his parents, Raj Babbar and Nadiya Babbar.

He honoured their 50 years of love, togetherness, and cherished memories. Sharing heartfelt recollections, Arya reminisced about their enduring love and the beautiful journey they’ve shared. The first black-and-white photograph captures a young Raj Babbar and Nadiya Babbar sitting together, offering a glimpse into their early days. Raj Babbar married Nadira in 1975. After their separation, he tied the knot with Smita Patil in 1983. Following Smita’s untimely death in 1986, the veteran actor reunited with Nadira. Coming from different religious backgrounds—Raj being Hindu and Nadira Muslim—the couple faced familial pressure, as his family wanted Nadira to convert to Hinduism.

In an interview with Lehren Retro, Juhi Babbar opened up about her parents’ relationship, highlighting how their family celebrates both religions. She shared, “We are the symbol of Indianness. Inspired by the 1990s Hindi sitcom “Shrimaan Shrimati”, “Bhabiji Ghar Par Hain” premiered on 2 March 2015 on &TV and is digitally available on ZEE5.

A spin-off sitcom, “Happu Ki Ultan Paltan”, revolving around the show’s character Happu Singh, was also released in 2019.

In January, “Bhabhiji Ghar Par Hai” completed 2500 episodes. Celebrating the milestone, the team held a grand cake-cutting ceremony on the set, in the presence of the entire cast and crew.

Talking on the occasion, Shubhangi Atre reflected on her character in the show, saying, “Angoori is a character close to my heart. Her innocence and signature catchphrase, ‘Sahi Pakde Hain,’ has struck a chord with fans. Being part of a show that spreads happiness is a blessing. Veteran actor Kamal Haasan shared his views on the current situation of independent cinema during his appearance at the 56th International Film Festival of India (IFFI) taking place in Goa.

Independent cinema should stay free
When asked to comment on the fact that independent cinema is still struggling in India, making its space, the ‘Indian’ actor said the movement must not be forced into the extremely confining space of commercialized cinema. He was heard saying, “Independent cinema is independent, don’t bring it into a very confining space of very commercialized cinema. Independent cinema is very independent; as free as India.”

Prior to this, Haasan congratulated the team of Sivakarthikeyan and Sai Pallavi’s “Amaran” as it was selected as the opening feature film in the Indian Panorama section at the 56th International Film Festival of India.
