For those unaware, Kareena and Tusshar have a long history, having collaborated in the early 2000s. Their filmography includes hits like Mujhe Kucch Kehna Hai, Jeena Sirf Merre Liye, Golmaal Returns, and Golmaal 3. Earlier in the day, producer Ektaa Kapoor, Tusshar’s elder sister, also shared a touching message for her brother. Describing him as her “guide and support,” she emphasized their special bond. Ektaa posted a heartfelt video showcasing their cherished memories.

A Journey Through Cinema

Tusshar Kapoor celebrated his 48th birthday on November 20. The son of Bollywood veteran Jeetendra made his acting debut in 2001 with Mujhe Kucch Kehna Hai, opposite Kareena Kapoor, a role that earned him the Filmfare Award for Best Male Debut. Prime Minister Narendra Modi has extended his heartfelt congratulations and blessings to the couple and their families. An official letter from the PM’s office stated, “It is delightful to learn about the wedding of Sou. Smriti and Chi. Palaash to be held on 23rd November, 2025. Heartiest congratulations and greetings to the Mandhana and Muchhal families on the auspicious and joyous occasion.”

About the Couple

For those unfamiliar, Smriti Mandhana is one of India’s most celebrated women cricketers, renowned for her elegant batting and consistency on the field. Her husband-to-be, Palaash Muchhal, is a prominent music composer, known for his contributions to several Bollywood projects. He is also the brother of singer Palak Muchhal.

Actor Vishal shared a heartfelt birthday post for his fiancée, actress Sai Dhanshika, expressing gratitude for her presence in his life and the meaning she has brought to it.

Taking to his X timeline, Vishal wrote, “Happy happy birthday to the light/love of my life. During the audio and trailer launch of her film “Yogi Da,” Dhanshika spoke fondly of their relationship. She mentioned, “I have known Vishal for 15 years. Wherever we meet, he has always given due respect. Whenever I have had issues, he has raised his voice for me. When there was a problem, he came to my house. We started speaking to each other recently, and it (love) blossomed then. It occurred to him and to me as well. We mutually accepted it. We realised that this was going to lead to marriage. Vishal spoke next at the event, recalling a vow he made years ago to marry only after completing the construction of the Nadigar Sangam building. He said, “I told actor Karthi, I am going to put a chair at the site where the construction of the Nadigar Sangam building is taking place. Karthi is the one who is looking after the construction activities. I told him, until you finish, I am not going to leave the place because my wedding has been fixed. I have also got a bride. With the permission of the bride’s dad, who is present here, I would like to announce the bride’s name as Sai Dhanshika.”

He added, “I want to, I love to, and I am going to marry Dhanshika. A wonderful person. Both of us understand each other very well. Yes, Dhanshika and I are going to get married. I think I am a very fortunate person. God always saves the best for the last. That way, I think he has saved Dhanshika for the last. We are going to lead a very positive and lovely life. The makers of director Jayan Nambiar’s highly anticipated action entertainer ‘Vilaayath Budha’, featuring actor Prithviraj Sukumaran in the lead role, have released the much-awaited track, ‘Spirit of Marayoor’. Fans and film enthusiasts are thrilled with this newest addition.

Prithviraj took to social media to share the link to the song, posting, “Spirit of Marayoor! Out Now. Vilaayath Budha from tomorrow!”

In the film, Prithviraj’s character is named ‘Double Mohan’, and it is set to release on November 21 this year. The censor board has granted it a U/A certificate, paving the way for its cinematic debut.

A teaser recently unveiled by the film’s creators has heightened the excitement among fans. It opens with two police officers discussing “Double”, whose real name is Mohan. One officer reveals that Double is a key figure in sandalwood smuggling, emphasizing that much of the business hinges on him. He is cheekily referred to as “Kutty Veerappan” (Little Veerappan).

The teaser showcases Mohan as a clever and daring character unafraid to confront law enforcement. When a cop questions his bravado, saying, “Who do you think you are? Pushpa?”, Double Mohan retorts, “Oh, he is international. I am just local.” It also hints at a romantic subplot, revealing that Mohan’s beloved supports him fiercely. The teaser concludes with powerful figures reminding Mohan of his limitations, to which he confidently responds that he has faced enough challenges to be taken seriously.

Veteran actress Saira Banu recently took to her social media to share a heartfelt story about her late co-star Kamini Kaushal, who passed away recently.

Saira said, “We worked together in Purab Aur Paschim, and it was during that film that one of my fondest memories with her took place.” She recounted a particular scene where her character, Preeti, a westernized girl, visits a temple on Nag Panchami and encounters a snake.

“I was supposed to look western and wear pointy high heels, and in this particular scene, I had to run along a muddy path,” she explained. Saira also shared, “Manoj (Kumar) ji, with great concern, asked, ‘Saira, how will you run in these high heels?’ At that moment, Uma Ji quietly slipped her own flats toward me and said with a soft laugh, ‘Yeh pehen lo, zyada aasaan rahega. (Wear these; it will be easy for you.)’ To my surprise, those flats fit me perfectly well.”

She added with warmth, “Later, we had a hearty laugh about it as if it were my own pair of shoes. I also remember how, when my engagement to Dilip Sahib was announced, she kindly called to congratulate me, ensuring she personally conveyed her happiness.”

Memories of Grace

Banu also recalled a more recent memory of the late star. “A few months ago, I came across a video of her dancing. There she was, still so light on her feet, moving with such grace. I remember smiling and thinking to myself, ‘I should call her…’ I tried to reach out, and though I could not speak to her, I did speak with her daughter-in-law, who was more than happy to chat with me.”

Reflecting on Kamini Kaushal’s passing, Saira expressed her emotional state, stating, “Today, as I think of her, I find no grand words but remembrance for a woman who carried dignity around her shoulders. Describing her first encounter with Kamini, Saira wrote, “My own journey with her began in the most unexpected way during my water ballet training for April Fool. I had to jump from a great height, and when I completed the activity and came down, there she was. She immediately said to me, ‘You know, Saira, I couldn’t have done what you just did… How did you do it?’ From that very first meeting, I held her in genuine respect, and I remained courteous to her always, not out of obligation, but out of admiration.”

She added that Kamini often called Dilip Kumar for advice, saying, “I still remember the affectionate phone calls she would make, asking Sahib to meet people who wished to see him. I would ensure that I took really good care of those guests who visited our home from different corners of the country and the world. She used to call Sahib to seek his advice on various matters or simply to talk, and I always handed the phone over to him.”

For those unaware, Kamini Kaushal, born Uma Kaushal, had shared insights into her past relationship with the legendary actor Dilip Kumar in her memoir. She provided a candid glimpse into the personal experiences that shaped her life and addressed their heartbreaking separation. In her biography, she mentioned, “We were both shattered. We were very happy with each other. We shared a great rapport. But that’s life. I couldn’t dump people and say, ‘Enough now, I’m going!’ I had taken on the girls. I wouldn’t be able to show my face to my sister. My husband, a fine human being, understood why it happened. Everyone falls in love.”

Interestingly, Dilip Kumar also acknowledged his feelings for Kamini in his biography and referred to her as his first love. He later reflected on this heartbreak in Bunny Reuben’s book “Dilip Kumar – Star Legend of Indian Cinema,” expressing that she was, “the only one with whom I achieved total identification. I think everybody falls in love only once. ‘Again’ – if there is an ‘again’ – is merely an imitation of the brilliant flame, the blinding light, the days of trance, the nights of impatience and waiting, and days of such happiness that one cannot believe they will last.”

Kamini Kaushal and Dilip Kumar shared the screen in three films: “Shaheed,” “Shabnam,” and “Nadiya Ke Paar.” Although Dilip Kumar rarely spoke openly about his feelings, renowned novelist Ismat Chughtai revealed that he was deeply in love with Kamini.

Singer-songwriter Demi Lovato is opening up about the pressure surrounding marriage. She shared that she felt “expected to be married by a certain age.”

Bollywood actor Vivan Bhatena is gearing up for the release of his upcoming war film ‘120 Bahadur.’ He recently revealed that he experienced a harrowing incident during the shoot, where two of his teeth imploded in his mouth.

A Tough Shoot

Bhatena described the shoot as the hardest of his life, stating it physically tested him and pushed him to deliver his best. He opened up about the challenges faced during the making of the film, saying, “It has been the hardest shoot of my life. It has been 60 days in unforgiving terrain. In fact, I literally lost two teeth because two of my root canal imploded in my mouth, in my gums. It was very painful. And it cracked inside, and my whole face swelled up like a balloon.”

Enduring Pain

He further shared his experience of pain management: “I had to get them removed—one at the military hospital, one in Mumbai. It was, in fact, an insane amount of pain that I had to endure. I was living on painkillers till I got to the hospital. For almost two weeks, I tried to bear it, but it was not possible. It just had to be removed. And, you know, that’s the kind of physical torture that you go through; it is nowhere close to what our soldiers go through.”

About the Film

‘120 Bahadur’ pays tribute to the brave soldiers of Charlie Company, 13 Kumaon Regiment, who lost their lives in the Battle of Rezang La during the Indo-Sino War of 1962. Shot in the stunning landscapes of Ladakh, the film draws deeply from the true events of the 1962 India-Sino conflict.

This war was sparked by undefined boundaries along Aksai Chin near Ladakh and Arunachal Pradesh. The construction of a road by China through Aksai Chin, which India claimed as its territory, escalated tensions. Diplomatic efforts fell short, and in October 1962, Chinese forces launched a two-pronged offensive.

India suffered major losses in the war largely due to Jawaharlal Nehru’s reluctance to utilize the air force and the lack of military infrastructure in border areas. Additionally, the USSR, one of India’s primary allies, did not come to India’s aid as it was preoccupied with the Cuban missile crisis during the Cold War.
