Bollywood superstar Kareena Kapoor Khan recently took to social media to wish her good friend and co-star Tusshar Kapoor on his birthday.
Heartfelt Wishes on Social Media
Sharing an old picture of them together, Kareena wrote, “Happy Birthday, Dear Friend, lots of love always, @tusshark89,” accompanied by a red heart and rainbow emoticon.
For those unaware, Kareena and Tusshar have a long history, having collaborated in the early 2000s. Their filmography includes hits like Mujhe Kucch Kehna Hai, Jeena Sirf Merre Liye, Golmaal Returns, and Golmaal 3. Their on-screen chemistry was so well received that Kareena even performed a special dance number for the film Kya Love Story Hai, alongside Tusshar and Ayesha Takia. The song “It’s Rocking” became a massive hit.
Ektaa Kapoor’s Heartwarming Tribute
Earlier in the day, producer Ektaa Kapoor, Tusshar’s elder sister, also shared a touching message for her brother. Describing him as her “guide and support,” she emphasized their special bond. Ektaa posted a heartfelt video showcasing their cherished memories.
She captioned it, “Happy birthday to the best boy I know! You are my guide; you’re my support! May you get everything you want in life! Loveeeeee youuuuuuuuuuuu.” The video featured the track “Rabba Mere Rabba” from Tusshar’s debut film, Mujhe Kucch Kehna Hai, as a background score. It included a montage of family outings, gatherings, and candid photos, highlighting special moments shared with Tusshar’s son, Laksshya.
A Journey Through Cinema
Tusshar Kapoor celebrated his 48th birthday on November 20. The son of Bollywood veteran Jeetendra made his acting debut in 2001 with Mujhe Kucch Kehna Hai, opposite Kareena Kapoor, a role that earned him the Filmfare Award for Best Male Debut. While his initial films, including Kyaa Dil Ne Kahaa, Jeena Sirf Mere Liye, and Kuch To Hai, did not make a significant impact, Tusshar’s career took a turn in 2006 with Rohit Shetty’s Golmaal, where he played Lucky, a speech-impaired character.
He went on to receive recognition for his supporting roles in notable films such as Khakee, Shootout at Wadala, The Dirty Picture, and Kyaa Super Kool Hain Hum.
