He elaborated on the challenges he faced in the film, stating, “Anything that you do new tends to take a bit of time to adjust to, and it can be difficult. I remember in ‘Pink’, there was a very dangerously written scene, and it was gruesome. Here, in Gustaakh Ishq, the challenge was to deliver poetic dialogues in front of The Naseeruddin Shah without shivering, yet managing to be believable and convey all the emotions correctly. It was a new challenge.”

Despite strong resistance from their families, Dharmendra and Hema Malini solemnized their marriage in Mumbai in 1980. Their wedding was a low-key affair. Together, they have two daughters, Esha Deol and Ahana Deol.

Dharmendra passed away on November 24 at his residence in Mumbai.

The upcoming crime thriller “Raat Akeli Hai: The Bansal Murders” is set to make its world premiere at the 56th International Film Festival of India (IFFI) in Goa. Lead actor Nawazuddin Siddiqui expressed his excitement about returning as Jatil Yadav, stating that it feels like reconnecting with a part of himself that has always remained.
