The upcoming episode of India’s Got Talent is set to deliver a delightful mix of laughter, nostalgia, and entertainment, featuring Bollywood actor Chunky Panday who is sure to elevate the energy levels throughout the show.
Chunky, while glancing at current judge Malaika Arora, humorously remarked, “All the young men of India keep Malaika’s poster in their bedroom. But the real question is whose poster Malaika keeps in her bedroom.” Host Harssh Limbhachiyaa quickly jumped in with, “Whose?” To which Chunky, showcasing his impeccable comic timing, responded, “Chunky Panday,” prompting laughter to erupt from the audience.
The fun escalated as Chunky and Malaika donned a bright red dupatta and broke into a lively dance to the iconic track ‘Lal Duppatte Wali Tera Naam Toh Bata’. The audience cheered enthusiastically with every beat, relishing a moment reminiscent of classic Bollywood stage performances.
Judges and Hosts
India’s Got Talent features Malaika Arora, Navjyot Singh Sidhu, and celebrated Bollywood singer Shaan, all guided by the entertaining hosting of Harssh Limbhachiyaa.
In a prior conversation, Navjot Singh Sidhu shared that his primary motivation for joining IGT was the “younger generation.” He emphasized that the show’s unique selling point lies in honoring talent. “Nothing motivates me more than honouring merit, number one. Number two, it is just passing on the mantle to the younger generation,” Sidhu stated.
He elaborated on his philosophy regarding influencing the younger generation. “How do you change the younger generation? Do you change the younger generation by intimidating them or reprimanding them? No. You change the younger generation by their thought process, and your thoughts are the real interpreters of your actions,” he expressed.
Sidhu reflected on the role of mindset, saying, “You are what you think. There’s nothing good or bad. It’s the thinking that makes it so. ‘All men have eyes; few have the vision.’ Therefore, to give them a vision—to make them better and facilitate them to live their dreams—fulfilling them through proper means. And I am used to getting highs out of hitting sixes.”
Addressing concerns about youth, Sidhu remarked, “There are youngsters today who will take to the bottle, take to drugs. IGT – India’s Got Talent – is a living example of how energies must be channelled in the right direction. The younger generation must be guided towards something constructive, positive, and beneficial for their health.”
He continued, “If you look at how beautifully chiselled bodies those involved in acrobatics possess, which I used to see in a circus, there are novel ideas where light is used for painting. There are performers coming in with new tricks. I mean, there’s no dearth of talent in India. It needs to be controlled, disciplined, and harnessed.”
Sidhu concluded, “What motivates me is that we don’t fight elections for the next election. We fight elections for the next generation. To pass on your experiences, your gauntlet, to the younger generation is the greatest thought process for anyone.”
