On the professional front, he is eagerly awaiting the release of his upcoming romantic drama, “Do Deewane Seher Mein,” where he stars alongside Mrunal Thakur. Directed by Sanjay Leela Bhansali, the film is set to hit theaters during Valentine’s week on February 20, 2026.

Recently, Siddhant opened up about personal challenges he faced while shooting “Do Deewane Seher Mein.” He mentioned that the film’s journey not only tested his creativity but also aided in his personal healing.

In a heartfelt note, he wrote, “Do Deewane Seher mein—A film so close to my heart. I’ll be honest…I was going through something of my own while shooting for this one. Veteran actress and politician Hema Malini has been taking to social media to share cherished memories of her late husband, the legendary actor Dharmendra.

In her latest post, Hema shared a still from the “Ek Hi Khawab” track featured in their 1977 film “Kirana”. She revealed that this moment holds a special place in her heart, describing it as her and Dharam Ji’s most beloved memory from the romantic entertainer.

The “Ek Hi Khawab” song is beautifully rendered by Bhupinder Singh, with musical compositions by the iconic R. D. Burman. Hema captioned the post: “One of the most beautiful memories of me and Dharamji from the movie Kinara. It was directed by Gulzar saab and the song sung by Bhupinderji and music by R. D. Earlier, Hema treated her Instagram followers to a series of rare photographs with Dharmendra, which she described as “treasured” moments from their family archives. She mentioned that revisiting these pictures brought back a wave of emotions for her.

In her Instagram post, Hema shared a collection of photographs posing with Dharmendra. Some images also featured their daughters, Ahana and Esha, who beamed with beautiful smiles alongside their father.

“Some lovely family moments… simply treasured photos. I know it is a surfeit of photos but these have not been published and my emotions are unfolding as I see these. #memories #family #moments,” Hema wrote in her caption.

Bollywood legend Dharmendra passed away on November 24. He had been hospitalized at Mumbai’s Breach Candy Hospital after experiencing breathlessness. After receiving necessary treatment, he was discharged on November 12 and continued his recovery at home.

YouTuber and actor Ashish Chanchlani has shared insights about his collaboration on the new series “Ekaki” with music producer Arjun Kanungo.

Original Soundtrack Highlights

Arjun Kanungo has composed the original soundtrack for Chanchlani’s upcoming web series, which features three tracks: “Porancha Ranga,” “Market,” and “Kehne Ko Kya Raha.” These tracks will launch alongside the show. Speaking about his experience working with Arjun, Ashish humorously remarked, “I was super stressed and honestly had a lot of anxiety working with someone like Arjun (haha!). Honestly, having him on board made the whole process way more fun than I ever imagined. And, in the end, he gave me free music. So here I am, left with zero choice, but say this: Love you, Arjun! Thank you for being there.”

Arjun Kanungo’s Thoughts

Expressing his enthusiasm for the collaboration, Arjun stated, “Being part of this project and creating music for Ekaki with Ashish has been an amazing experience. Ashish and I have been good friends for years, and this collaboration gave us a chance to merge our creative spark in a really exciting way. I’ve seen a few episodes, and they’re absolutely incredible; it’s such a well-crafted show. This is a big project for him, and I’m genuinely happy to contribute, even in a small way, to bring the series to life musically.”

Arjun further explained, “Each track speaks to a different mood: one is a punchy, infectious banger, while the other has a really cool/groovy vibe, and another one is a driving track. So, there’s a melody for every listener. And, I genuinely hope the OST becomes something audiences replay long after the show ends – music that lives beyond the series.”

Diverse Musical Styles

Notably, “Porancha Ranga” marks Arjun’s first Marathi composition, featuring a bold sound infused with desi energy and cultural rhythm. In contrast, “Market” is a Marathi hip-hop number that Arjun has reimagined from one of his label artists’ originals. Meanwhile, “Kehne Ko Kya Raha” highlights Arjun Kanungo’s signature style, blending modern sounds with emotional depth.

The web series Ekaki premiered on November 27.

Two of Hindi cinema’s most cherished characters, Veeru and the unforgettable Jailor from “Sholay,” reunite in the much-anticipated film “Ikkis.”

Late actors Dharmendra and Asrani, who brought an entire era of humor and heart to the 1975 classic, share the screen once again in this upcoming project.

In a short clip, Dharmendra delivers heartfelt lines: “Aaj bhi ji karda hai, pind apne nu jaanwa.” Fans couldn’t help but notice a fleeting moment that ignited nostalgia. As the camera pans, Asrani is seen next to him, sharing an effortless laugh with Dharmendra, who recently passed away on November 24 at the age of 89.

Asrani, who passed away in October this year at the age of 84, succumbed to a chest infection, as confirmed by his manager and close friend. He died at 3 PM on October 20. His official Instagram account shared a heartfelt message regarding his demise, stating:

“The news of the passing of the king of comedy, the great actor Asrani ji, who ruled over millions of hearts, has plunged us all into deep sorrow. He gave Indian cinema a new identity with his unique acting, simplicity, and humor. The life he breathed into every character will forever live on in our memories. His passing is not just a loss for the film industry but for everyone who ever smiled at his acting. May his soul rest in peace. Om Shanti.”

“Ikkis” is a war drama centered around the life of Arun Khetarpal, the youngest Param Vir Chakra recipient. Directed by Sriram Raghavan, the film also features Agastya Nanda and Simar Bhatia.

“Sholay,” released in 1975, is an iconic Indian epic action-adventure film directed by Ramesh Sippy. The narrative follows two criminals, Veeru, portrayed by Dharmendra, and Jai, played by Amitabh Bachchan, who are enlisted by a retired police officer to capture the notorious Gabbar Singh. Hema Malini and Jaya Bachchan star as Veeru and Jai’s love interests, Basanti and Radha, respectively.

Veteran actress Soni Razdan recently shared a touching tribute to her firstborn, Shaheen Bhatt, revealing that Shaheen became a mother figure to her at the tender age of two.

Celebrating Shaheen’s birthday, Soni crafted a heartfelt message on Instagram. She referred to her daughter as her “Uniquely special Brilliant Baby” and expressed her profound love.

“My darling Shaheen, my first born, my uniquely special Brilliant Baby… Who became a mother to me, almost from the age of two. For context, Soni married acclaimed filmmaker Mahesh Bhatt on April 20, 1986. The couple welcomed their first child, Shaheen, on November 28, 1988, and their second daughter, Alia Bhatt, in 1993. Soni is also the stepmother of Pooja Bhatt and Rahul Bhatt, Mahesh Bhatt’s children from his first marriage to Kiran Bhatt.

Shaheen is an accomplished author, screenwriter, and mental health advocate. She has penned the book “I’ve Never Been (Un)Happier,” where she shares her experiences battling depression.

The makers of Dharmendra’s final film, “Ikkis,” have revealed a poignant poem penned by the legendary actor.

Heartfelt Poem Released

The video features a special Punjabi poem written and recited by Dharmendra in the upcoming movie. Titled “Aj bhi ji karda hai, pind apne nu jaanwa,” the poem beautifully expresses his longing and romantic nostalgia for his beloved pind (village). Sharing the emotional piece on Instagram, the producers stated, “Aj bhi ji karda hai, Pind apne nu jaanwa.” They noted, “Dharamji was the true son of the soil, and his words carry the essence of that soil. This poem by him is like a yearning; a tribute from one legend to another.”

“Ikkis,” produced by Dinesh Vijan and Maddock Films, is directed by National Award-winner Sriram Raghavan. The film tells the true story of Second Lieutenant Arun Khetarpal and is set to release in cinemas on December 25.

Tribute to a Legend

The clip also serves as a heartfelt tribute to the late veteran actor, who passed away recently. In the film, Dharmendra portrays the father of 21-year-old Second Lieutenant Arun Khetarpal. Agastya Nanda takes on the role of Khetarpal, a heroic soldier who was martyred at the age of 21 during the 1971 Battle of Basantar in the Indo-Pak war.

For his exceptional bravery, Khetarpal was posthumously awarded the Param Vir Chakra, becoming the youngest recipient of India’s highest military honor. The film also features Jaideep Ahlawat and Sikander Kher. “Ikkis” marks Dharmendra’s last cinematic appearance. He passed away on the same day his character poster was revealed.

The poster was captioned, “Fathers raise sons. Legends raise nations. Dharmendra ji, an emotional powerhouse as the father of a 21-year-old immortal soldier. One timeless legend brings us the story of another.”

“Ikkis” will be in cinemas worldwide on December 25, 2025.

Filmmaker Aditya Dhar celebrated his wife, actress Yami Gautam’s birthday with a heartfelt display of affection.
