Actor Arjun Kapoor’s sister Anshula Kapoor expressed gratitude towards her half-sisters, Janhvi and Khushi Kapoor, calling them her ‘soft place to land’ during her recent Ghor Dhana ceremony.
Anshula shared a heartwarming video on her Instagram, showing Janhvi tying a Paranda in her hair, with Khushi assisting.
Feeling overwhelmed with joy, Anshula wrote a touching note, stating, “Didn’t know how much I needed their quiet kind of love until I had it. The kind that doesn’t need words – just a hug at the right time, a hand that reaches to hold mine, a look that says ‘we’ve got you.’ The kind that shows up softly, but stays loud in my heart…”
She continued, “My sounding boards, my built-in cheerleaders, my unspoken comfort. Thank you for being my soft place to land, always. ILY my @janhvikapoor @khushikapoor.” Accompanying her message was the track “Tenu Sang Rakhna” from Alia Bhatt’s “Jigra,” further symbolizing their close sibling bond.
For those unaware, Arjun and Anshula are the children of Boney Kapoor and his first wife, Mona Shourie, while Janhvi and Khushi are daughters from his second marriage to the late actress Sridevi.
Boney Kapoor was visibly emotional during Anshula’s engagement to Rohan Thakkar. He lovingly kissed her hand during the ceremony, showcasing his pride and affection as she embarked on this new chapter.
He also took to Instagram to share photos capturing special moments during the Ghor Dhana. One monochrome picture showed Boney kissing Anshula’s hand, followed by a heartfelt hug. Siblings Janhvi, Khushi, and Arjun also appeared in some of these snapshots.
In a previous post, Boney expressed his feelings with the words, “My darling daughter blessed to have you in our lives. My precious daughter found a precious son-in-law for me. Love you my bachha; all my blessings and happiness to you both forever.”
