Actress Ankita Lokhande recently expressed that for her, shringar feels like “a festival within.”
The star of ‘Pavitra Rishta’ took to her official Instagram account, looking delightful in an orange saree complemented by a matching blouse.
Her shringar showcased various elements: from sindoor on her forehead and kajal in her eyes to elegant silver jhumkas. A clip revealed her completing her bun and applying lipstick, followed by her admiring her finished look in front of the mirror.
Reflecting on the significance of shringar in her life, she wrote, “Sindoor, bangles, bindi… every little detail carries its own story of love and blessings.. here’s a special happiness in shringar… it feels like a festival within (orange heart emoji) (sic).” The background track featured the song “Piyu Bole” from the movie “Parineeta.”
On the professional front, Ankita is embracing a new challenge as a producer with her home banner, Legend Studios, collaborating with Sandeep Singh and Vicky Jain.
As she embarks on her production journey, Ankita confirmed that “acting will always remain my first love.” When asked if producing meant stepping back from acting, she clarified, “Acting will always remain my first love, but producing is my way of giving back.”
For her, producing is an extension of her creative journey rather than a replacement for acting. “My first single-lead film came from Sandeep, and today, he has also brought me my first film as a producer. And with Vicky by my side, I feel like everything has come full circle,” she shared.
Ankita views producing as a way to carry forward a legacy, create new opportunities, and contribute to the industry that shaped her career. She emphasized that she does not take the responsibility of reviving a cult film like “Chandni Bar,” featuring Tabu and Atul Kulkarni as leads, lightly.
