Actor Ravi Mohan, who portrays the antagonist in Sivakarthikeyan’s upcoming film ‘Parasakthi’, has expressed heartfelt admiration for the trailer of actor Vijay’s ‘Jana Nayagan’. The film is set to compete against ‘Parasakthi’ at the box office this Pongal.
In a recent Instagram story, Ravi Mohan shared his thoughts on the ‘Jana Nayagan’ trailer, stating, “Thalapathy vetri Kondaan. #Jana Nayagan @actorvijay Anna, you have already won for me. In everything. The trailer is super realistic, and I’m sure this movie is winning the hearts of many, including me, your forever fan and brother. My best wishes to HVinoth brother, @KvnProductions, @Jagadishbliss, and the entire team for success.”
For those unaware, the unit of director H Vinoth’s ‘Jana Nayagan’ recently released the official trailer, delighting fans and movie enthusiasts alike.
Trailer Highlights
The trailer opens with a notorious thug making a phone call to another thug, instructing him to make inquiries about someone named Thalapathy Vetri Kondan. Alarmed, the second thug warns, “Hope you haven’t tried your tricks with him because you would have heard of many killers, but have you heard of someone setting a record in it? That is ‘Thalapathy’ for you. Do not touch him. He will slice you up.”
Following this, viewers are treated to a series of intense action sequences. A little child asks Vijay, “You bashed an entire battalion. Are you Superman?” To which he replies, “I am just an ordinary man, baby, but I have heard people say that whatever I do is super.”
In the trailer, Mamitha Baiju plays Vijay’s daughter, Viji. Vijay advises, “Girls should not be scared. She must be like a tigress,” while trying to get her to sign a form for army induction. Viji is shown in fear and pain as Thalapathy begins his search for those who dared to harass her.
Antagonist and Political Statements
The trailer features Bobby Deol as the antagonist, who believes he can make India fall at his feet within 30 days. He has a plan called OM, aimed at annihilation.
Vijay’s character makes several strong political statements throughout the trailer. One notable dialogue has him declaring, “Be it anybody who tells me, ‘I will close your chapter,’ or ‘I will cause disgrace to befall you’, I have no intention of turning back.”
The trailer concludes with a powerful scene of him confronting politicdigihunt, stating, “Instead of entering politics to serve the people selflessly, you barge into politics to loot and kill innocent lives.”
As anticipation builds, the film—which is generating immense interest as it will officially be Vijay’s last project—is set to release worldwide on January 9 this year.
