Surbhi Chandna Craves Vada Pao After 15 Days Abroad, Shares Love for Mumbai in Instagram Post

Actress Surbhi Chandna, a true Mumbaikar at heart, is feeling the pangs of nostalgia for Vada Pao during her recent trip abroad.

In her latest Instagram update, Surbhi shared that after spending 15 days away from India, she craves the iconic Traffic Vada Pao along with other unique offerings from her beloved city.

She creatively referenced a dialogue from the 2006 romantic comedy “Shaadi Se Pehle,” featuring Akshay Khanna, Suniel Shetty, Ayesha Takia, Mallika Sherawat, and Aftab Shivdasani. In her video, Surbhi conveyed her longing to return home and enjoy all that Mumbai has to offer.

“Day 15 abroad and you are craving Traffic Vada Pao & Khadde,” the text overlay on her clip stated.

She quoted Suniel Shetty’s character, expressing that it truly hits you how much you miss Mumbai. “When it Finally Hits You… Mumbai (Pink heart emoji) Vada Pao Teri Yaad Aa Gayi (sic),” she captioned the post.

On a different note, Surbhi recently shared insights about her journey with “Naagin.” She confessed that she didn’t agree to join the show immediately. Appearing on actress Rashami Desai’s talk show, Surbhi revealed that working with renowned producer Ekta Kapoor had always been a goal for her, which ultimately led her to take part in “Naagin.”

“I don’t fit the criteria….I told them that I am dying to work with Balaji but give me some other show… then they asked me to think over it and I requested some time. They were supposed to start with an actor before me, then there’s this story of reincarnation, and then comes my role in the series as the Naagin, and that’s when I instantly got into action mode,” Surbhi explained.

Rashami humorously pointed out a light-hearted drawback of being associated with “Naagin,” saying, “Kids come up to you and say, ‘Aunty, Naagin ban ke dikhao na.”
