Filmmaker and choreographer Farah Khan, known for her vibrant presence on YouTube, is gearing up to decode “The 50”, which promises to bring a refreshing change to the reality show format in India.

A sneak peek revealed on Saturday highlights Farah’s candid reactions to “The 50” and its host, The Lion. With her signature unfiltered style, she remarked, “Badalne waali hai reality shows ki reality,” and questioned why she hasn’t been invited to participate in what’s being billed as India’s biggest reality show.

Speaking about “The 50”, Farah emphasized, “Reality shows in India have followed a certain pattern for years, and finally The 50 is coming in to shake that up. The scale is massive, the number of participants is unprecedented, and the constant pressure leaves no room for comfort.”
She added, “That’s exactly what makes it exciting—it’s intense, unpredictable, and a wild ride from start to finish. Comfort zone jaisi cheez yahaan exist hi nahi karti. Having seen and judged almost every kind of reality format, I genuinely believe The 50 will change the way audiences look at reality television.”

“The 50” is an ambitious reality show produced by Banijay Asia, following its success internationally. Set to stream soon on JioHotstar and Colors, this bold new format aims to disrupt the existing Indian reality TV framework. It will premiere on 1st February.
