Mira Rajput Celebrates New Year with Shahid Kapoor, Reflects on Gratitude and Growth for 2026

Actress Mira Rajput welcomed the New Year with a heartfelt sentiment, sharing a joyful picture with her husband, Shahid Kapoor. The photo reflects their gratitude, growth, and fresh perspective as they step into 2026.

In her Instagram post, Mira shared a snapshot of the couple on a yacht, where they are seen smiling and enjoying each other’s company. She expressed her feelings about the past year and what lies ahead in her caption.

Mira wrote: “Sailing into the new year with gratitude, strength, joy and the love of my life. So grateful for this year that gave life to my dreams, pushed me to 7th gear, made me rediscover myself and learn to be fearless about it all. It’s not about perfection but perspective.”

She continued, “Laugh through the bumps and smile through the cruise because this year is going to be the journey that finds you! Here’s to 2026, ready for you.”

Shahid and Mira tied the knot in 2015 during a private ceremony in Gurgaon, attended by family and close friends. They have two children: a daughter named Misha, born in 2016, and a son named Zain, who arrived in 2018.

Currently, Shahid is busy with an upcoming film directed by Vishal Bhardwaj. This gangster film also features Triptii Dimri, Nana Patekar, and Randeep Hooda. Set in the 1990s in Mumbai, it delves into the post-independence underworld.

Titled “Arjun Ustara,” the film is a love story interwoven with action and gangsters, focusing on the underworld of that era.

Shahid last appeared in Deva, which hit theatres on January 31, 2025. The action thriller, featuring Pooja Hegde and Pavail Gulati, is directed by Rosshan Andrrews, marking his debut in Hindi cinema.

The plot follows a skilled yet rebellious police officer investigating a significant case, only to uncover layers of lies and betrayal.

Talking about Deva, Shahid mentioned that it’s a film that should definitely be experienced on the big screen.
