On the work front, Shruti Haasan was last seen in “Coolie,” where she played the role of Preethi Rajasekar. The film featured icons of Indian cinema, including Rajinikanth, Nagarjuna Akkineni, Malayalam actor Soubin Shahir, and Bollywood superstar Aamir Khan in a cameo.

“Coolie” was announced in September 2023 under the tentative title “Thalaivar 171,” marking it as Rajinikanth’s 171st film as the lead actor.

Looking ahead, Shruti will appear in “Salaar Part 2: Shouryanga Parvam.” The first installment, “Salaar: Part 1 – Ceasefire,” was released in 2023 and is directed by Prashanth Neel.
