Bollywood superstar Salman Khan recently showcased his culinary skills by preparing a delightful bowl of “Bhau chi bhel.”
On Monday, actress Genelia Deshmukh shared a video on her Instagram where Salman can be seen mixing various street food ingredients to create the bhel. She expressed her admiration in the caption, writing, “There is no one like @beingsalmankhan, he absolutely goes out of his way to make you feel at home, to make you feel special. This time he serves the absolutely delicious ‘Bhau chi bhel’. We love you.” In the video, Genelia’s husband, Riteish Deshmukh, also joins in enjoying the special bhel made by Salman.
Recently celebrating his 60th birthday, Salman was surrounded by the entire industry. With over three decades in the spotlight, he remains one of Hindi cinema’s most enduring and polarising figures. From transforming the romantic hero archetype in the 1990s to becoming the undisputed mass-action superstar of the 2000s, his career mirrors the evolving landscape of the film industry itself. At 60, Salman continues to draw massive box-office openings, maintain loyal fan support, and embody a larger-than-life public persona. His success extends beyond cinema; his role in the television sensation ‘Bigg Boss’ and philanthropic efforts through Being Human have contributed significantly to his public image. Despite facing controversies and setbacks throughout his career, his resilience and star quality have remained remarkable, marking him as a unique entity in Indian cinema.
As Salman Khan turns 60, he epitomises longevity, reinvention, and universal appeal. For his fans, it’s a celebration filled with cherished memories, iconic dialogues, and memorable songs; for Bollywood, it serves as a poignant reminder that genuine superstardom, grounded in connection and consistency, can transcend age.
