Ahead of the much-anticipated audio launch for Thalapathy Vijay’s “Jana Nayagan,” actress Malavika Mohanan expressed her excitement and shared her admiration for the star.
She took to her X profile to voice her feelings, stating, “Before my day gets busy with my own movie’s pre-release event, I want to take a moment to express my excitement for the audio launch of #JanaNayagan. It’s been an absolute honour to have worked with Vijay sir & an even bigger honour to be able to call him a friend. He is a special person in every sense of the word. I will be cheering for him & the entire team of the film like millions of fans from across the globe. Now and always, A Thalapathy fan girl (sic).”
Malavika previously shared screen space with Vijay in the 2021 blockbuster “Master,” directed by Lokesh Kanagaraj and featuring Vijay Sethupathi in a prominent role.
The audio launch of “Jana Nayagan” is set to take place at the Bukit Jalil Stadium in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia. The event will unfold in two parts: “Thalapathy Thiruvizha,” a tribute concert featuring 30 singers, followed by the audio launch itself. The event will include speeches from Vijay, director H. Vinoth, and the entire cast and crew.
Notably, “Jana Nayagan” will be Vijay’s last release before he steps into politics with his party Tamilaga Vettri Kazhagam. Under the direction of H. Vinoth, the film boasts an ensemble cast, including Bobby Deol, Pooja Hegde, Mamitha Baiju, Prakash Raj, Gautham Vasudev Menon, Priyamani, and Narain in key roles.
In addition, Malavika is preparing to make her Telugu debut alongside Prabhas in the upcoming film “The Raja Saab,” which is scheduled to release on January 9, 2026, coinciding with “Jana Nayagan” at the box office.
