Actor-producer Ravi Dubey has given fans a sweet glimpse into his personal life by sharing moments from a romantic ‘date night’ with his wife, actress Sargun Mehta.
Ravi took to Instagram, sharing two affectionate pictures of the couple as they marked one year of their production banner. He captioned the post, “Date Night with my darling. One Year of @dreamiyatadramaa Merry Christmas. ok bye.”
In 2019, Ravi and Sargun launched their own production house, which has co-produced several films. Notably, in March 2021, they backed the popular television series Udaariyaan.
On the professional front, Ravi is set to portray Lord Lakshmana in the upcoming film “Ramayana: Part 1.” Earlier this year, the film’s makers unveiled the first look on July 3. The runtime is heavily enhanced by CGI, crafted impressively by Prime Focus and Academy Award-winning DNEG, recognized for their Oscar-winning VFX work on ‘Dune.’
Starring a star-studded cast, the film features Ranbir Kapoor as Lord Ram, Yash as Raavan, and Sai Pallavi as Goddess Sita. Sunny Deol will play Lord Hanuman, Amitabh Bachchan takes on the role of Jatayu, and Lara Dutta is cast as Kaikeyi.
In a remarkable collaboration, music legends Hans Zimmer and A. R. Rahman are joining forces for the soundtrack of the film.
‘Ramayana’ aims to create a two-part live-action cinematic universe, envisioned on an unprecedented scale. The movie also boasts top Hollywood stunt directors Terry Notary (known for Avengers and Planet of the Apes) and Guy Norris (Mad Max: Fury Road, Furiosa), who will choreograph the epic battles between gods and demons.
Filmed for IMAX, ‘Ramayana’ will be released globally, with Part 1 debuting during Diwali 2026 and Part 2 set for Diwali 2027.
